Model cycles pack 😂. Great video 💪🏼. It’s hard to always concentrate on everything equally. We used to be in bands where someone was responsible for their respective pieces of the cake. Now we’re lone writers, producers, PLUS video and everything that comes with it, AND marketing and so much more. Sheesh! You pull it off so elegantly.

Man, that LFO trick on the shaker volume is so good!. I don’t get why the whole lfo is cycle is 4 when you set it at 8 but still.

Yeah, the shaker starting to peak on the down beat due to that LFO, combined with the piano chops was when the magic really started happening

@@plocky401 No problem for me, because I do this thing called "working", which pays me "money" when I drive to work in my ten year old used car (that cost used about 20 times the price of a Digitakt by the way), and I am glad to give a little bit of that money to people who develop very special things I could never develop myself, with their extreme skills in software and electronics development they worked hard to learn for many years. I guess I'm just not special enough to expect them to give it to me for the price of a harmonica or kazoo or something.

what is the workflow for you sampling onto the digitakt? specifically the piano chords coming from your computer, how you do that? Edit: Looks like its coming from your interface, just route it out using the interface software?

Quick and I guess "personal" question - Does @RickyTinez record (multi-cam!), edit and finalize all of his videos on his own? While being focused on the topic, music? Write scripts? Camera grips? Lighting?... Asking as myself who tries and finds it all... a lot of work trying to do it all truly alone, and I'm so far off the production level I see here... and elsewhere. In any case... Inspiration must flow though. And knowledge alike. I'm trying to reciprocate on my own, even if I find it hard. Thanks to you too Ricky! 🙇♂

It’s interesting to see which parameter you use to fade in parts. I’d naturally go for the Track Level control that’s controlled by the left hand Level/Data knob, since this corresponds to the track’s volume in the internal mixer. It also has the advantage of being available across all the different pages. Great tip though, I don’t do nearly enough fading things in and out on the Digitakt itself.

this is the antithesis of music making. please just switch to playing with legos or something else that doesnt involve creativity but still allows you to piece together things that other people made and drunk teenagers enjoy
