I eliminated all animal products from my diet, I also eliminated all added oil, salt and sugar. Before I eliminated all that had the worst gas, bloating and digestion, today I eat tons of legumes, whole grain pasta, cruciferous veggies, quinoa, lentils, I rarely eat rice but when I due its always brown rice. I have zero gas and bloating problems, two years in and my life has changed for the better. Not saying it will work for everyone, its what worked for me.

Hi Bobby! Thanks for the video. I’ll definitely keep those in mind when my stomach doesn’t feel right. You can also chew on coriander seeds, cumin seeds, and even fennel seeds to relieve gas. I’m times you’re going to eat inflammatory foods when you’re out to eat or at a friends house so I thought I’d put that out there. I think ginger and other spices also relieve gas and it’s good to keep the pantry well stacked instead of relying on medicines like Gas-X Alka-Seltzer, or Tums.

When I was growing up my mom would start her dried pintos to boil. Then she would put a teaspoon of baking soda in. It would foam up. She would pour out the water and rinse with hot water until the water was clear. Then she would cook them. We never had gas. What I want to know is why the water turned green after she put in the baking soda and is that green what causes gas.

Fastest way to get rid of gas and bloating? Get rid of wheat and sugar - including natural sugars from fruit - and starches. To your body, sugar is sugar whether it comes from candy or fruit. And starches and grains are converted by your body into sugars. I’m assuming if you’re lactose intolerant, you know that and already avoid high lactose dairy.

The other thing that causes gas and bloating is improperly combining your food. When you combine food from different food groups such as a hamburger the enzymes the body produces to break down the food will conflict with each other and the result is gas and bloating. Google food combinations to get an idea of what food goes together and digestion times.
