He sat on Angola's death row for roughly 16 years before dying… where all his appeals presented to the courts were shot down very quickly. His victims families didn't get the injections they were waiting for, but did gain comfort in knowing he never again could hurt another female and comfort in just knowing that he was dead.

Yes, it's best not to let your imagination go there. I watched an episode earlier that was the worst case scenario of this. A man survived the horrors of the Vietnam war & came home, only to be poisoned to death by his wife 4 months after getting back. To think your son is finally safe & sound in the bosom of his family & have him die shortly after would be devastating. Then, years later, when the pain might be beginning to ease, you find out the person who should have been 2nd only to you when it came to loving & protecting him had actually stolen his life from you. I can't even begin to imagine how the poor guy's mom survived & kept going after that.
@animerlon
Жыл бұрын
@@broeheemed32 Fathers absolutely matter, but you have to acknowledge that there is an extra connection between mother & child that a father doesn't experience. Growing a child inside you for 9 months, followed by the act of bringing a new life into the world, only to have that life destroyed by someone, will produce emotions a father just can't experience. In relation to the OP though, as the other commenter said, her comment was reflecting her personal perspective as a mom & was not being exclusive.
@broeheemed32

@@animerlon "Extra connection", huh? Like Diane Downs, who shot her children because her "new boyfriend" didn't want kids? Like Debora Green, who torched her house with her children in it to "get back at" the ex-husband who didn't want HER any more? Like SUSAN SMITH? I could go on and on and on and on..... there are more examples than I could count. Get over yourself. The reason that women have an "extra connection" is because courts routinely give them 100% custody, so they keep the children away from their father out of spite.... so many children grow up never knowing their fathers.

This case reminded me of the DC Sniper case. Everyone was looking for a white box truck. 1000's of police hours were spent questioning drivers of white box trucks. When the killers, who happened to both be black men, were caught they were driving a Chevrolet Caprice. They did not have an accomplice in a white box truck. White box trucks are common. Not as common as a white truck being driven by a white guy, but still common.

Derrick Todd Lee saw this and took his opportunity. Her death was most puzzling bc it was outside of his "deleting radius" if you know what i mean but this information explains the gap between her deletion and the rest of the women.

I remember watching this episode with my dad in the room and he and my mom actually remember my dad being pulled over by the police because of this case. At the time, we lived in the Baton Rouge area (my mom is a native Louisianan, my dad isn’t), and my mom was a few months pregnant with me. Because the killer had mostly gone after white women with dark hair, my parents were nervous about being close to the city since my mom looked a lot like some of the victims. My dad was in his late 30’s at the time, and he was also bald, white, and around 200 pounds. The police were pretty much stopping anybody who had a white pickup because that was the vehicle they suspected the killer drove. They also suspected that the killer was a large white man aged 25-40. My dad says he was driving home from the drug store getting some medicine for my mom in his white pickup truck. The police, seeing the truck and stopping him, also noticed he fit the description of the killer. Thankfully, he has never had a criminal record and they let him go. When it was later revealed the killer was a black man, my dad couldn’t help but think how lucky he was that my mom wasn’t harmed (and by extension, me) and that he wasn’t detained or worse. It’s crazy how personal some of these cases can be, even if I wasn’t alive then, and I’m very glad the case was eventually solved.

We stopped in Baton Rouge to stay the night at a hotel. I ran out to our car to get some things from the trunk of our car, not thinking there was any danger at 9pm. This car with two men pulled up close to me and said “hey what are you doing lady, come here we got something for you to see”. Being scared to death and not knowing what to do, I said in a very firm and loud but not screaming voice “NO NO NOO” and for whatever reason they got spooked and sped off. Pam Kinamore was indeed a very beautiful lady. Too sad she was killed along with the other women by a perpetrator who had no respect whatsoever for a human life. This killer just killed these 5 women being married and having 2 children. Wow. I guess he didn’t care who he killed as long as he killed women. May all these five victims rest In peace always 🙏🏻🙏🏻

It was actually six. I grew up with Geraline and her sister Heather. She was always so sweet and willing to help anyone in need. Her whole family is like that. My heart sank when I heard. Very sad all of these ladies lost their lives to a coward.

Dr. Tony Frudakis did a tremendous job identifying the race of the criminal in question. He is an absolute brilliant scientist. Thanks to his findings, this serial killer was apprehended so no more women could be killed. Thank you Dr. Frudakis, you are the hero in this case. I applaud you 👏👏👏👍👏👍👍👏👍

What would deter them more is if the punishment would be executed quicker. Don't leave them sitting in prison for years, get it over with. Now many states are letting them go.

From living in the area when this happened and doing research, it was Dianne Alexander’s ID that broke the case. The DNA from her assault and sketch were released. Afterwards, a nearby police department recognized the man from the ID as a peeping Tom they had been in contact with. Following the ID from the photo lineup, and DNA all matching, they issued an arrest warrant for the assault and murders. Once he was arrested, they got a warrant for his DNA, and that matched all of the crimes. And that was that

Pam's mom said Pam was faithful but that's not true at all. her husband was a parapalegic so she kept the keys in the door so that he could get in the house easier. However, what's not mentioned is that Derrick Todd Lee was doing construction in the area across from her house and word was that Pam would wear revealing clothing to entice the guys in construction bc her husband wasnt really hitting it due to him being paralyzed and all. Derrick Todd Lee saw this and took his opportunity. Her death was most puzzling bc it was outside of his "deleting radius" if you know what i mean but this information explains the gap between her deletion and the rest of the women.
