@@zoe._.1850 The elite media such as GB News, The S*n, The Daily Fail, The Express, $ky News, The Torygraph and The Times smeared his name as they knew he would be coming after them for more business tax and rightfully so had he been elected. He didn’t stand a chance. Yet it now looks like Starmer has played an absolute blinder. Most of his policies so far are all socialist ones. He’s made it his priority to nationalise the railways and the energy companies, is on the verge of scrapping Non-Dom status, scrapping zero hour contracts, has scrapped the Rwanda plan and has finally allowed a pay-rise for NHS workers and rail workers. Many won’t be happy. There is also still a long way to go. He needs to scrap the 2 child limit for starters and urgent reforms are needed for our welfare system. It’s good to see that The New Deal scheme is being restarted for long term unemployed people who were being thrown into jobs they despise and were very poorly paid to do after the tories ended The New Deal scheme. Time will tell if his gamble is going to pay off. Renationalising services is not just needed, it’s morally the correct thing to do. The companies in charge of them are parasites.

Well deserved. As an Islington North resident, I can safely say, none of the others deserved to win as they were arrogant, didn’t give a shit about us as a constituency and there was never any doubt Corbyn would win. He was the only one who made the effort to campaign. His campaigners came to us two to three times a week. Green, Labour, Tories, Reform and Lib Dem’s simply dumped a leaflet into our block of flats and that’s it. They couldn’t even be bothered to deliver it to our doors separately. Zero respect gives you zero credibility. Corbyn deserved this. It wasn’t the shock everybody claims it was.

US could have had Sanders, UK could have had Corbyn. Two most humble, honest and caring politicians. No immigration bullshit hateful retoric and populism. Focus on the real problems with simpathy and care. Missed oportunities...😔
