I think franklin arsenal is doing a lot of things right. As an engineer and a manufacturer, I know what to look for. I have seen the original company's in this business falter over the years with quality control. But I think with improved quality franklin arsenal could capture the market. They definitely have some innovative products. Let's bring them to America for manufacturing.

I believe all of Franklin Arsenal's stuff is made in China. If you want "budget" reloading equipment that is made in the USA, go with Lee Precision. My main press is a Lee Loadmaster. It has served me well for a decade.

I’ve watched a lot of your videos. I reload shot shells. I’ll be diving into metallic reloading soon. I’ve been doing the research and getting organized making a list of tools and supplies for the calibers I’ll be loading. Honestly been wanting to do this for decades but the shot shell realm is so big and been keeping me satisfied for decades. I never once thought about Googling anything about reloading until the ammo shortage and reloading supplies disappeared from local brick and mortar shops. Dude when I started Googling reloading supplies? I found out just how big the world is. I’ve gone from old school shot shell loading to loading with presses roll crimping with Italian and American roll crimp tools. Better equipment and presses for star crimp. Better precrimp tools, Lord don’t get me started about crimp finishing tools. 😂 I’m now loading loads I never thought I’d be loading. Getting equipment and supplies sent strait to my front door. 😂 My area is not known for a wealth of reloading suppliers. Do you have any idea how many times I knocked off on Friday afternoon and made a road trip for reloading supplies? 😂 Anyway I’ve been talking with a couple older metallic Reloaders in my area. From what I’m researching and leaning. They are like I was with shot shells. Way back in the woods about modern reloading. To them military crimped primers are a no go. Well I’ll be doing it soon. 🤷🏻♂️

I had the intellidropper, after 4 months or so it wouldn’t hold zero and drifted all over the place. FA replaced it with a new unit and didn’t even want the old one. Old one went in the trash and new one was sold. I have their case prep station and tumbler and they seem to work fine so far. I just use my RCBS uniflow now with an A&D EJ-54D2 and trickle up. Buy once cry once, it’s a real thing.

I have the manual powder measure, it doesn’t drop consistent, but I trickle up to my load anyhow so it works great for how I use it especially with the micrometer adjustment. The powder trickler works excellent, and I just received the universal seating die today in the mail, so I will be testing that out soon. The automatic powder drop I was interested in, but other reviews and videos it seems like it’s got some faults, so maybe I’ll wait till they come out with a version 2 or wait till some of those bugs are worked out I the future.

I haven’t been impressed with the quality of the M-Press I ordered Black Friday of 2020. The first press had a DOA led light so I returned for replacement. The next one, the shell plate pulled loose and bent. This time they sent me a new one without returning the old one. The 3rd press I replaced the #6-32 1/4” screws with 3/8” so hopefully the plate won’t pull loose again. Happy with the Intellidropper so far.

I did get the universal bullet seating die set but...Although it is very well made, it is made in china and I just do not like that about it. Also, it only goes up to .338 and that's not very "universal". FA really need to have some type of companion set that covers .338 to .458, at the least, if not up to .501. All that said, I I have used it to great effect loading 5.56 and even 300 BLK, which to do you have to mix and match components because the 30 cal seating stem is not optimal for short bullets in short cases like Hornady 110grn SP or 110grn fmj/rn in .308", but it did work and it work well. I did not pay for mine, I got lucky and won my FA Universal Bullet Seating Die set for free when I went to check out at the grand opening of an outdoor gear and firearms store.

Gavin - love your videos!! Have you had any issues with dies not being able to screw down far enough into this press without hitting the top? I recently bought one and my might armory dies and my Forster ultra micrometer seater will not screw down far enough in the press without hitting top of it? There is a lot of thread left at the to of the die, but it bottoms out on the top of the press. This is with 223 and 6mm BR cases. Are you able to run the Forster ultra micrometer seater in this press or shorter bodied dies like the mighty armory? I saw a hack where you put a normal shell holder in the universal shell holders and remove the pin which opens/closes them which gives you more height to overcome the issue.

@@6creeder688 I disagree. Both presses function along the same principles using a free-floating die to self center the bullet to reduce bullet runout. The Co-Ax is a 30+ year old design that's tried and true. I want to know if the M-Press, being made with more modern and precise manufacturing techniques, can load ammo of similar quality to the gold standard press that Frankford Arsenal so obviously tried to copy. Is the FA going to be as good as the Co-Ax? Probably not, the price is indicative of that, but is it 50% the press of the Co-Ax because it's half the cost? I doubt that too. If the M-Press is loads ammo that's 95% of what the Co-Ax does, I don't shoot 1+ mile/minute-of-a-knats-ass shots and I can live with 95% of the ammo quality of a Co-Ax for literally half the price. That's why I want a comparison.

Quit being such a shill! Dude, I am starting to really discount everything you say. You can't do a video without disclosing your financial relationship with the manufacturer. Did they give you the stuff? Did they also pay you to make the video? The Prazi press you've got is a far superior press but I am guessing they aren't sending Frankford Arsenal money your way. Uggh, you're got no integrity. At the end of the day, none. Think about that the next time you look at yourself in the mirror.
