Freddie Star was a star in his own right but for many years he did Elvis better than anyone. He was a comedy impressionist but he always did Elvs with great sincerity because he was a real fan of the man. The fact that his impression of Elvis was better than impersonators around in his day shows how talented he was. There are some good triute acts today but they have more reference material to work with.. Freddie did not have the vast reference material we have today all available at a click of a mouse. If he had all that he would have knocked stars of the best tribute acts of today as well as yesterday. Rest in Peace Freddie.

I loved Freddie from the late 70's to late 80's to early 90's, his comedy was great, his (although he didn't remark them as impressions,) they were just remakes' he would of done eventually...lol This was fantastic..he reamade this in his own style, of somebody else, how was this NOT his own style " I USED MY OWN BLOODY VOCAL CORDS" i would think he would have stated it...😊😅😂

Love how my version of this has gotten round. I'm the person who owns the master of this. As it goes from Trouble into Guitar Man the crossfade I put is there. Since I did this version that you've uploaded I have gotten hold of another original VHS which was stored away by an Elvis fan who got it from the fan club when it was done. I don't mind that my version has gotten round as it's nice to see there are still fans of Freddie out there.
