Hello, I created an I-Beam. I'm trying to bend it 90 degrees (around its vertical axis). Would you happen to know how to make FreeCAD do that? If yes, can you please show how? Please and thank you.

Hi Anthony - I'm not familiar with I-Beam bending so not much help here. You can search the FreeCAD Forum ( forum.freecad.org/index.php?style=4&sid=9f15b5209346c1e47428061b49a44da7 ) to see if someone there has done this or can offer advice. There is a lot of expertise on that forum. Good luck.

Another way, you can sweep a profile of the I-beam along a path, using the ‘additive pipe’ in part design.

@@sar2908 Thanks for the tip. I found in FreeCAD there are multiple ways to get things done. For what I do, FreeCAD has been a good tool. The Sheet Metal WB is a nice addon. Work safely.
