hello, you're great, but you let the end take over, if your colleague hadn't pulled you in, you could have drowned, please how long did it take you to learn to train, not 4 minutes, I'm still training and I can only do a maximum of 2:30 minutes and that's mostly drought, please how should I train and would he also reach those 4 minutes, thank you

I don't think that the reason of fail is you stopped the breathing 10-20 second. you would may gradually increase the record from the contraction. dont need to leave your life at the first stage. and Please STA with your buddy not alone.

Wait how did you Black out after you came from underwater?
@NativeExplorer

That’s a good question. I had no idea what really happened until I started Freediving training and even more so until recently when I started my Freediving instructor training. When you are becoming very hypoxic and your brain doesn’t get enough oxygen, freedivers may experience LMC, loss of motor control. In 99% of cases, when someone is there to hold your face above water, you will come out of it. Since I wasn’t Freediving at the time I had no clue about it and the safety procedures. So after the LMC I had a blackout, which is usually the case. Even though my face was above the water I still didn’t breath enough oxygen, so the brain shuts down vital function and a blackout occur. I was super lucky. Always perform Freediving training with a certified freediver and it’s before refresh all the safety procedures.

You are pushing yourself to a dead zone...always do it with a buddy beside and never try to exceed your own limits...I can see you're fighting very hard againts the urge feeling of wanna breath but instead of coming up you choose to fight with it..Breath hold performance take a lot of practice and times to achieve it...We always dive with a buddy and make everything count and well planned...Freedive is a great sport for everyone to continously challenge their body limit but without doing it right,bad thing will likely to occur...Never push beyond your limits..Feel the contraction and make your body slowly adapt to this kind of situation..Practice both tables to build up tolerance againts CO2 build up and low O2 level in your body...Train it half of the time of your best static breath hold time..make everything smooth and calm...Anyway,be the best of yourself and love yourself as how you love freediving..Cheers

Thanks for the advice, they are all correct. When I made this video I had no clue about freediving, and this blackout is the reason I took a freediving course. Since then I came a long way and today I am a Molchanovs freediving instructor ☺️ Where are you from?

Do you not feel pain before a blackout? I can hold my breath for 2 mins but the last 20 seconds is very uncomfortable I would know to come up and not to blackout. How do you reduce that feeling?
@mikefue9597

There are no signs to blackouts.
@NativeExplorer
3 жыл бұрын
Do you mean you feel contractions? Usually before a blackout the partial pressure of oxygen in your body will fall below 0.1. Signs in your body that shows that you are very hypoxic will be blue lips or blue on your ear or white face. The best tip is don’t stretch yourself to the limit. Another sign is when bubbles come out, like you can see in the video, it’s time to go up. Loosing air from your lungs when you are hypoxic after 2-3 minutes breathhold will lead to a blackout.

That was extremely reckless. Thank god someone was there to spot you. Otherwise you would most likely be gone. In freediving, you get depths and time not through force, but through relaxation. Hope you learned your lesson and did a proper course after this. If not, and ur still alive - go take a freediving course with a certified instructior. You are doing so many things wrong.
