Richest man in Babylon is a powerful book and one of my favorites as well. I think the most important lesson I learned reading it is anyone can get rich or wealthy with dedication and self discipline. It’s definitely a book I wish I would’ve read in my teenage years but better late than never. It was also deep how no one even bothered to write the books down in South Central but everyone did at Brown University. We really need a culture shift badly as a people.

This is certainly one of your best clips…simply because he mentioned those books and highlighted the fact that none of those kids took notes or jotted down the names of those books. Basic but instrumental reading material. I’ve read them all numerous amounts of time. Especially “Richest Man In Babylon”. Much love and respect to Rick Ross and his evolution. Knowing is half the battle. Much love and appreciation to you, Vlad, for posting this particular clip✊🏾.

Amazing! Two of the three books he named (sort of) I first read (religiously) in prison also. And I can honestly say that these books are critical to my transformation to becoming a successful leader and public speaker that I am today. • "Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice" by Napoleon Hill and Dennis P. Kimbro • "What Makes The Great Great" by Dennis . Kimbro • "As a Man Thinketh" by James Allen These are the three key books that I read, still read, and recommend to others to read. In fact, if I care about a person and see potential in them, I will purchase "Think and Grow Rich: A Black Choice" and give it to that person. I've bought that book probably 40 times since I've been home. Salute to Rick Ross! Seems that he and are on the mission: that is "to leave the World better than we found it!"

Look, i tell my kids this because I was that kid you guys are talking about, I tell mines that you have to learn how to learn. As a kid I knew how to read but what I didn’t know was how to comprehend what I was reading. To make what I was reading stick! If you’re interested enough you’ll read and learn but if it’s school work we’ll read without comprehension. We wanna hurry up and stop reading. However, one of the important facts of reading is it helps you focus. Your attention will want to go else where but it’s the practice of putting your attention back into focus.
