Two weeks after the spring barley harvest, we returned to Harpertoun Farm to catch up with grower Andy Baird.
Having had time to assess this year's crop of Laureate, Andy explains the challenges that have been faced on-farm this season due to the dry weather, but also how happy he is overall with the crop he has been able to provide us at Simpsons Malt for malting, which will then go on to The Borders Distillery.
