The results on your husband's hair were amazing!! It's funny we've always been told that with higher volume comes higher level of "blondness", when in reality it's all about patience! My natural hair is a level 5 and I've always had my hair highlighted to a level 10 for years by using BlondMe+20 vol., I have no complaints about that. But lately I've been looking into 10 volume as the developer to process highlights or very thin slices because (I've read) it damages your hair significantly less, and now thanks to you I find out that it also allows the hair to reach a cooler blond color, and I'm soooo tempted! So, being a natural level 5 with a 3-4 cms regrowth on highlighted hair... would you recommend I 10 vol. instead 20 vol. ? Thanks a lot in advance!!

Thank you! If you are talking highlights and not full root touch up then I would say 10 volume would be good- but I would use 10 volume at the back,to the crown and then on the face frame. Changing to 20 vol on the top and sides. The hair is incubated in foil (causing heat which accelerates the lightener) also the hair will be processing at the back for some time longer than the top and sides,as the nape is the starting point. The hair around the face is fine and therefore needs a milder oxidant (10 vol). I would use fine slices/weaves as it does not cause less damage but it means the lightener will be distributed well meaning an even coverage so you won't get a patchy result. I hope this helps! I am a huge believer in K18 which will also help prevent damage - the main thing to remember is to not overlap fresh lightener on hair than is already a level 10! I am on Instagram if I've confused you!

Hello , im a bit late to the video release time but i just wanted to ask , im gonna go blonde and my hair is almost a 1-2 like very dark almost black & i’ll take to level 10, do you recommend double bleach with a 20% developer?

I am honestly not a fan of double bleach on the scalp. I prefer a low and slow method,20 vol should be fine,it all depends on the length of your hair as the application should start on lengths and ends,once lifted,then applied to the roots.

Hi, I've added highlights I'm a natural level 4 I used blondeme with a 30 got to a light orange, want to get to level 9 on the next bleach what Developer do you suggest is 20 vol OK? Wow great job on your husbands hair. Thank you.

Hi,I'm just concerned that you won't be able to pick out all of the orange pieces,if you apply 20 vol then it could land on the level 4 hair,10 vol and patience will get you the coolest result...as in less warm.

@@Scarlett777Red OK thank you, I get confused with the volume, is it that the higher volume the more damage it does? Is that sort of it? Thank you 😊 Is light orange around a level 7? When you say patients does that mean leave it on longer or multiple sessions? Thank you 😊

@@Fletch_18 Yes the higher the volume the stronger the developer,a high volume will work quickly but the strength slows over time,a lower volume like 10 vol works at a slower pace but it keeps slowly lifting. The lower the volume the more it is diluted i.e. more water. With patience I mean wait until it is lifted. light orange is a level 7 so a level 7 ash toner could kill the orange but not make it lighter.

So This way the hair is less demaged than if you apply 30vol. or 40vol.?
@Scarlett777Red

Yes,much lower volume,it will take longer but the lift is constant rather than a bit hit with a higher volume which fades in strength.

What ratio of bleach to developer do you use?
@Scarlett777Red

It would depend on the brand I am using,usually 1:2 ratio,one part powder & 2 parts developer.
