The prosecutor in this trial did an outstanding job pointing out the reasons AJ Armstrong appears to have killed his parents. If I were on the jury, it would have been a guilty vote from me. I believe he is a sociopath. The problem is that so many people are uninformed or have biases against people with mental illness and they believe that anyone who is mentally ill, regardless of the particular illness are "crazy" and capable of doing anything. So, they can easily be convinced that poor Josh had a psychotic episode and turned into some kind of stealth killer. The prosecutor presented enough evidence to prove that AJ killed his parents. One more thing.......the defense attorney was either VERY nervous or very out of condition. His heavy breathing was a bit distracting.......contrary to the calm delivery of the prosecutor. I'm not talking against the defense attorney's size......I'm not a small person myself.......What I'm getting at, is.....he's probably nervous because he knows the prosecutor kicked their butt and he's up there panicking and scrambling to try to save his guilty client. People who are supporting AJ have on blinders.

Defense atty- I felt he did not do a great job in closing I wonder with AJ family listening to the closing arguments and evidence presented if they still think he is innocent. His mother spoke from beyond the grave “the alarm doesn’t lie, you lie” May his parents finally rest in Peace🙏🏾

A mother knows their child, I believe she called him out on his BS and held him to his lies where as the dad was more of fuss and let it go. He hated that his mom saw through him. Moms normally would do anything for their children and the fact that she seemed to be doing just that and he continued to lie to her made her call him out on his stuff even more. The fact he has not once said anything positive about his mother shows his true disdain and hatred for her. Always beware of someone who answers questions saying they don’t know but still have all the answers to the question asked. He thought he was smart but all that talking he was doing he continued to leak out little lies….
@Jackiedylan541

You hit the nail on the head! AJ really thought he was so smart but he made mistakes he started to realize as he was being interviewed like why was there a bullet hole in his room. He tries to explain it away but then can’t supply the name of this friend so he changed his story although also claimed at beginning of interview said he touched father’s gun once when he was 8. AJ also threw in seeing a masked man running in the house, but only mentions this a long time after he is taken into interview room. It’s hard to belief Josh did it because he was in his apartment with his girlfriend. It seems clear experts agree alarm system was working so how did a murderer get in or get out of an armed house and leave one trace of anything! I really can’t stand the defense, he doesn’t deal with facts just playing on emotions and Josh. Why would Josh kill his parents, if he was so crazy I don’t think it would be possible for him to so carefully kill parents, find a loaded gun, write a note in kitchen, and then carefully exit the house. A psychotic person could not do it with such ease and precision. A psychotic person would be more disorganized and surely leave some trail.

Let's get one thing straight: the defense attorney is not stupid nor are you smarter than him. You do not understand criminal defense. If you did, it would be asinine for you to make a comment like that. 1) Their job is to take the FACTS that they are working with and presented with along with existing law that they have to work with and THEN mount a legally sanctioned coherent, self-sustaining defense. 2) His second duty as a defense attorney is to ensure that none of his rights in the Bill of Rights are being trampled on by an overzealous investigation. That the prosecution doesn't take any shotcuts. *So if you any type of criticism of the attorney it would be in relation to the execution of his duties but not to his intelligence. The reason you're attacking his intelligence is just because you're TRIGGERED that another human being would stand up and defend a client accused of what AJ is accused of. And then you're even more triggered because of you are association or empathy towards the parents. Has nothing to do with weather the defense attorney is intelligent or not...

Go look at that jankee video. Those probably were some paid kids or teenagers it wasn't even broken into go look at the video. I'm just not convinced anymore. It was him. Kids killed their parents all the time close proximity murders and you are really think that people who didn't even take anything from my house would just go kill someone and a rich neighborhood that has surveillance everywhere. What a joke.
