Wow says it all. Pau says she was going through her emo angsty phase. Written in middle school. When she framed it that way I got a bit of a shock, even though I knew their ages. When I think of middle school I think of shooting rubber bands at classmates and getting sent to the principals office, but the entire concept kind of requires that angsty presence. I have no idea how many times I’ve watched these songs and it never gets old.

The sound in the background, at the beginning, is on a backing track. It's played by one of the ladies, when they were in the studio. They use a smattering of backing tracks, all played by them, to enhance various parts of songs. They are more than capable of playing without them, and have, on many occasions, when there was trouble with the electronics. In those instances, only the most astute could ever even tell the tracks were gone.

Regarding the creepy synth sound from the backing track , i'm sure i remember a true story to this , and goes something like , when it was played in the studio Dany accidently flipped that sound on and it sounded so eerie and appropriate that they decided to keep it , but it certainly wasn't supposed to be there originally .

Within the context of the album, the object of the queen's affection doesn't come out of this stalking in the best of shape. Actually, he's dead.

The eerie background sound is actually guitar feedback that the girls purposely decided to keep from when they demoed the song before recording the QOTMS album. Then, they took that feedback track and integrated it into the song on the album and used it as a backing track for live performances to match the album track. They thought it perfectly fit the spooky mood of the subject and the beginning and ending of the song. They explained it in their video "Vlog #23" about the writing, recording and release of Chapters 1 and 2.

Great reaction. I love this song - Dany burying herself in her role; Pau’s pounding beat; Ale’s thundering bass-line. Just astounding, at any age, never mind how unbelievably young they were here. And that goes for the whole album & specifically this performance of it. Just mind-blowing!

Wow is the perfect reaction to this performance of Dany! She really acts the character of the storyline of this concept album. Rumors say, the murder happened at the end if Stalker! 👍⚡️🤘

*SPOILER ALERT!! SPOILER ALERT!! SPOILER ALERT!!* Just wondering Wally. Are you following the story?? *Queen of the Murder Scene* is a concept album. About love, murder then madness. The Queen declared her love for someone who doesn't return her love for her. In *The Stalker.* The Queen became the stalker. She somehow capture her lover. She was singing to the person in the intro (piano). Somewhere in this song she murders the person she loves. At the outro (piano but with a slightly different under tone). The Queen is singing to the corpse. *NOW THE FUN BEGINS!!*

Indeed, now the fun begins! My take (just based on the vocal emphasis and lyrics) was that the actual act occurred during the "let me in your heart" lines. Meaning, kind of *physically* getting into his heart. With a blade.

Hi Wally, I'm so glad, you like The Warning as much as I do. This album is in fact and obiously a masterpiece, no matter which age they in when they wrote it. Thats makes it just more impressing. Please do me a fovour: As English is not my native language, I sometimes am in trouble with the meaning of some words being used. In this case it is angst / angsty, which appeared to me several times during my exploring of this band. Have you a description of what angst means in this context. The Google translation comes out with "Angst", but that means fear in English, and that doesn't seem to fit for me. Would be happy about your support.

As you go through this, pay attention to the graphics behind them. They illustrate story elements. They were carefully arranged by Pau, and she is controlling them with her laptop (which is why you see glimpses of her desktop background photo of the three of them ay home occasionally). But they do help understand the story progression. Also, realize in this song the ("first", according to Pau, although it's not clear who the others are) murder happens. Dany says the last verse is sung over the corpse of her now-dead obsession. My personal take is that it actually happens during the "Let me into your heart" lines shortly before that; meaning, well... physically. The lyrics of the next song make much more sense when you understand this; that the obsession of the story is now dead.

The most impressive thing about these three girls (as they were at the time) -- apart from phenomenal song writing and performing ability -- is not just their stage presence, but their *command* over their audience at such a young age.
