That's a Heritage, made in the old Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan by ex-Gibson employees. Looks like he has EMG pickups in it. Great guitars, cheaper than Gibsons, made from the same materials, good craftsmanship.

Bravo! You just summed up what I've been trying to say for ages! See, I thought everybody had heard the phrase 'if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all'! As for the video, I love it. Big Gary Moore fan, and I love this version =D

Very fast rocked up version as you would expect from Gary. Saw him live with BB KIng - yes honestly - at Sheffielld a few years back. BB was 82. Needless to say it was an ace gig. Check my humble version on my site. Nice post indeed.

I'm not sure why folks have any problem with the fact Gary could crush most experienced players into the cracks of the floor, I have always though he was not the kind of player to step on toes even though he could easily have to anyone he played with ,that's the sign of a real pro. He had more feel than you can possible want, and played what came out & not what many seem to feel was overplaying. I have been playing since 72 but I'm no pro like he was, not that many are, not on his level anyway. I always have had the utmost respect for one of the best we've ever had . I am fine with each to his own ,it's all about respect . Shame Gibson didn't fashion his signature axe from that 59 Les Paul he got from Peter Green, OH WELL ..

This is a great instrumental written I believe by Freddie King who of course does an awesome version as does Love Sculpture(Dave Edmunds) and Detroit's Jimmy Thackery. This version is right there with them. Great work Gary!!

Gary Moore is a fantastic guitarist, theres not a guitarist on the planet who can play blues better than Gary, he blows Clapton out of the park for a start! The people on here saying he's crap are just jealous, you wish you had half of his talent :)

@MarkWillsUK Superb he had real balls, and in my mind very few guitarists could keep up with him, such was his technical ability and unbelievable ability, he will be sadly missed - I saw him in Leeds many years ago and someone said something to him in the crowd, although I don't know what, but he soon told whoever it was what he thought!

Shit I am a drummer who loves music period and if I say so my self I am one hell of an air guitar player and even playing air guitar the faces just happen when you love music or playing. When I play the drums I make really mean looking faces and in no way is it for show, I just forget where I'm at and I am going for it. I have had this argument with people before, they just don't have what Stevie and Gary and the real players have, soul!

Yeah! Vai is another "style" of instrumental music.. maybe something like "psychodelic music" hahahaha. Gary is definitely one of the best live guitarist you could ever seen and he can play blus like heavy or jazz. Vai too!! Is a good guitarist, but I don't like Vai, just prefer Gary or BB King!

what a dumb discussion, Ive seen gary live many times, he puts heart and soul into his playing and he expresses it through body language whilst playing, can you imagine anybody playing the same music, the same licks, with a straigh face not moving a muscle? Im sorry but you would hear the difference.

But he NEVER played any rockabilly! He'd have been great at some old classics. Same as Clapton. They never play the crossover game. Setzer does the blues pretty well, and Stevie Ray bordered on some Rockabilly, but the classic guys never seem to. Wonder why? I know it's because they don't think of it as a valid form of music, cos they do.... Mikey (soapbox)
