Thanks Chris, unfortuantly I had to sell the bike due to injury, I would have liked to continue this series and get some more hours on it.

Hey mate just bought one of the 21 models on run out. Your series was awesome mate and a great insight. I am only a entry level rider so you have scared me a little on how powerful the bike is (stepping up from a 250), but i am sure i can work on that. Thanks again mate

Hey, thanks for watching. Just keep the muffler stock until you get for used to the bike, the power isn't that crazy when doing the mods it's just opens up the bottom end of the engine. Depending on how your 250 is set up it, the 350 might be mellower or more aggressive. The best option is to work out what you like as a rider moving forward. Feel free to shoot me any indepth questions on Facebook or instagram. Happy riding

never thought of changing the handlebar ? for me I felt better on the huski bar. still flat but not that low mmmm

It did cross my mind. But looking up the specs the bar was the same as the stock KTM bar which I enjoyed. I think the high bar feeling was more related to seat height. Possibyl the Gas Gas was a touch lower than other ktm models I was used to.

Great Vids, I was just looking into the EC350 and had heard you could uncork them alot with fuel and muffler as standard one's left me wanting a bit. Love to know what suspension setup Jack is running. Looks super well behaved.

On jacks bike, i believe he was running a krooztune kit in the forks converting them back to convention fork set up and a bladder set up in the shock. Despite it being sprung 30kg lighter than my normal set up the valving was set quite stiff to suit his pace, it was very compliant and worked well when I rode it despite being severly undersprung.

Riding the isde in France few weeks. Just wondering if so the exhaust mod will it affect noise test? Iv also done away with the stock radiator hoses and replaced with samco. Does away with thermostat

It definitely makes the big louder, but not as loud as an aftermarket exhaust. Might pay to try and test it beforehand though.

Great episode Trent (EP4 was also a winner with the ECU tune and & power gains). After taking out the KTM forks, what do you think about testing the WP6500 Pro catridges or Dal Soggio version in the EC350F? Also I wonder if a larger front bake disc and a few mods are worth checking out? Cheers

Hi Edward, thanks for the feedback. The 6500 cartridges and dal soggio cartridges are both a closed cartridge design, the same as what is in my kashima coated forks (mine are just built from genuine WP components. I would like to test the CC forks against the stock forks once they are modified to an open cartridge design and provide some feedback about that as I don't think CC's are all that they are made out to be for the average trail rider/ rider. But this will be later next year after finke. In the meantime the stock forks should be ready soon and I'll provide some feedback on the OC mods and what I think. Unless I was given a set of dal soggios or 6500s, I couldn't justify going and spending $2000 on something I already have and the minister of finance would shoot me. I will check out the larger discs and give it a thought, I have been told of a few mods for front brake to increase braking power, so might do them first.

@@loveoffroadaus You mean she doesn't love tearing up wads cash at toys you break and don't earn a living? But yeah that makes sense. Be handy to know how close tuning the stock forks gets to expensive closed cartridge ones. Cheers.

I made the mistake of telling her how much my flash forks cost to build. So now anytime I mention suspension she knows I already have a flash modded set. Yeah there's a lot of hype around CC's and while they are good, I definitely think they are more suited to faster guys / racers, for general trail riding I still prefer my old OC set that I used to have.

@@loveoffroadaus Well, sounds like she knows you have suspension all sorted. Maybe she thinks you should get a Rekluse clutch instead then? Neither the KTM or the Gasser have one...

I would rather ride a quad bike than fit a rekluse to one of my bikes.
