This video contains two matches I had with the recently released Narrative Gundam [C-Packs] on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 650 cost raid with an absolutely loaded skills list, great stagger ability, powerful melee, incredibly powerful melee if it can use Awaken Mode alongside access to a 350m range piercing heavy attack if it is in Awaken Mode. Its weaknesses would be having meh durability outside of Awaken mode, a minor stats buff in NT-D compared to the 700 cost Unicorns and no HP recovery if it activates Awaken Mode. This suit is really fun, I can definitely call it one of my favourite raids in the game. It has a fairly well rounded kit that becomes absolutely insane if you can manage to survive until Awaken Mode. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon is a beam rifle with 2500 power, 6 ammo, 5 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time, 400m range and 35% stagger value. This has great stats all round which makes it a good tool for continuing midrange combos or as a way to start melee combos.
Its primary melee weapon is a pair of two beam sabers with 2750 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and standard modifiers. This has high base power but doesn't have any sort of special combo or downswing modifier. It makes up for this weakness by having a downswing with a pretty ludicrous hitbox.
Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan gun with 110 power, 60 ammo, 510 RPM, 6 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 250m range, 935 DPS and 5% stagger value. This is a pretty decent vulcan gun with long range and alright DPS. It staggers in about 2.35 seconds.
Its second sub weapon is a shield beam cannon with 1650 power, 90% heat, 5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 350m range and 30% stagger value. This has mediocre power and high heat, but it instantly staggers.
Its third sub weapon is a shield missile launcher with 600 power, 4 ammo, 225 RPM, 11 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap time, 300m range and 35% stagger value. These have good stagger accumulation alongside high ballistic damage.
Its fourth sub weapon is the fists of the MS with 2350 (2800) power, 2 seconds cooldown, 0.33 seconds swap time, 100% side swing modifier, 180% (90%x2) downswing modifier and 2 seconds charge time. Before you activate Awaken mode this is a 2350 power weapon with a high power albeit quite short range downswing. Downswings will do more damage than your beam saber and can still be confirmed off a stun if you are quick. In Awaken mode the power and moveset is buffed, with the downswing being changed into one with faster start-up and longer range. Furthermore in Awaken mode; it can charge the weapon like a heavy attack to launch a 4000 power, heavy staggering and piercing energy attack that has 350m range. You do not have stagger resistance while throwing out this attack.
The LV1 C-Packs has 21000 HP, 20 ballistic resist, 27 beam resist and 25 melee resist. It has alright durability at a first glance, but unlike other raids it has no special buffer skills to reduce incoming damage. It makes up for this by having both LV3 Emergency Evasion and Maneuver Armor.
In terms of mobility it has 135 walk speed, 220 boost speed, 75 thrust and 75 turning speed. It has lower boost speed than some other raids but again the skills make up for it. It has access to both LV3 Flight Control and LV3 Forced Injector.
The skills that really make this suit are unique versions of the NT-D and Awaken skills. You can activate NT-D at 80% HP to gain Offence System, +5 ranged modifier, +10 melee modifier and +5 walking/boosting/turning speed at the cost of losing 75 HP per second. After 30 seconds you can press the touchpad to activate Awaken, which stops the HP drain, reduces incoming stagger accumulation by 10%, reduces ranged damage taken by 20%, fully heals allied leg/head HP and grants access to a 4000 power counter animation.
It also has LV1 Counter Boost which gives it a 20% damage buff for 30 seconds after it counter tackles an enemy.
Overall I feel like the Narrative C Packs is going to be a sort of wildcard pick. On paper it is OP as hell once it can activate the Awaken skill, but it isn't anything too crazy in normal and NT-D mode. It has decent shooting ability but this thing really wants to be using the melee as much as possible, which isn't ideal in a 650 cost meta with overtuned shooting generals like Todesritter or Dijeh Traversia which can easily wall out C Packs. For a melee raid the Baund Doc will probably be much more consistent if you can use it properly, as well as any of the powerful midrange raids like Char's Dijeh or Delta Plus. I still think the C Packs will be a decent choice at the absolute minimum, but if you want to use a meta raid then you should probably look elsewhere. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!
