..Or don't powder coat it at all? You'd get the same oxidation color layer as some domes on old buildings, which could look pretty neat. And after it formed, it actually protects the tube then after, as well as can do powder coating (and nicer, if most of the rest is black for instance - and I'll never, EVER limit my color pallet to NVIDIA's green/lime stuff, this is my build of my own taste not theirs).

Why would you use a specific or dedicated water cooling type of fitting with a o ring that type of device is prone to leaking anyway , at least in my trade , instead of either a standard brass compression fitting with a compression ring (brass) or simply just using type m rigid tubing instead of soft copper and just soldering fittings together? I'm sure there has to be a way to remove any left over flux from inside the pipe. Then maybe have it nickel plated or something. Just asking cause I'm going to be doing a custom water loop soon and I'm a commercial plumber. thanks for your replies in advance.

Jeremiah Johnson usually , us old dirty plumbers use a log type table to verify resistant / cavitation / velocity issues with FU demand pressure , velocity , resistance by number of fittings and degrees of each fitting, all related to pipe size and incoming pressure. In the desktop computer typically its of no appreciable value.
@vivimu

+texasdee slinglead this water isn't under extreme pressure it's pushed by a small pump less bends the better. if it doesn't matter why even de-burr the inside of the pipes. just use 1/8" coiled tubing and make the biggest spiral slinky you can fit into the case. these are tech nerds who want the best performance, hence the water cooling in the first place. nobody would make it less efficient knowingly

Nice results, I think it's a good job bending, installing and painting the Copper tube. I don't know exactly if copper is overkilling for this use, tipically copper is used for high pressure (between 20 psi and 400 psi), zero reaction with the refrigerant or fluid and killing bacteria

This is old news that doesn't happen any more. If the blocks and fittings are anodised (which all are, or should be by now) then bare copper has no problem. The liquid you should be using would have non corrosive properties or if not, then a thin layer of rust will form on the copper which would stop the reaction.

ccricers : most 12mm pipe I've seen as a wall thickness of 0.6mm, which gives you a Wall Factor of 20. With a Wall Factor that high, you're unlikely to be able to a bend tighter than 3D (3 x diameter), so if you're kinked then I'd suggest your bender's bend radius is less than 36mm.

Some of the best air coolers works better than the small liquid coolers. After looking at the numbers I have come to the conclusion that liquid cooling is to expensive and to prone to failures to be a good option to the best big air-coolers with heat-pipes. I have for 10 years been running a Core 2 Duo overclocked from 2,4 to 3,2Ghz with a huge Scythe air CPU cooler that has 10 heat-pipes. If I had been running water-cooling I would have had to replace components like pumps many times. The little difference in cooling performance (2-4Celcius lower at 60Celcius) is simply not worth the extra money and hassle
