The fun thing is it's not just a non-Gen Z person complaining about Gen-Z behaviour. It's basic human nature to get irritated about something which used to be special and is now used by the majority of the public. It's like you were part of this cool lil group (internet was limited in 2000s) and now the group has expanded so much that you don't enjoy being amongst the average. Now its that people have fun in disrespecting the most recent slang, and I'm waiting for this period of time to get over soon. I have severely limited my commenting on social media for this exact reason, like just to not get pissed off everytime I open anything on my devices.

From talking with my parents, the term Chad being used as an insult and a snide comment is from the 80s and 90s, much before Reddit. They probably just adopted it, I guess? Because a Chad was what you were annoyed to find stuck in your hole punch, it was stubborn and indignant and didn't leave you alone. It demanded your attention, despite not being worth your time.

I only ever heard 'period' to either signalize that a sequence of numbers after a comma will never reach the end, basically the dash above the repeating sequence of digits, or to signalize that I won the argument simply because I put extra emphasis on the Period, that should signalize the end of the sentence. Like 1 / 3 = 0.3333 (period) or "That's enough, you're grounded!" "But-" "You're grounded! Period!"

@shortbreadhead
Жыл бұрын
I can't stand mid for a couple of reasons, and the first one is so funny because I know it will piss people off and I love that. So to explain I'll ask this, wouldn't it be funny if people made fun of millenials for words like meh (which yeah that gives me the boke but w/e) but then use a word like mid that is basically inferring the same thing? Second reason is because it's so fucking stupid like, what does it even mean at this point? If it's mediocre then that's average, no? So why use it to imply it's bottom tier? So it's either worrying that average is now considered shit, or it's fucked and misused because obv you must make sure you keep up with slang, fuck the thought of becoming irrelevant right? Might just be a Scottish thing that we don't use the ones we don't like cos it sounds stupid as fuck either in our accent or typing it feels like we're writing shit we wouldn't say. Again, not saying I'm not guilty of some of these but it's situational, and when you see 700 scuttery bin lickers spew it out in the comments of a video it makes you want to staple your eyelids shut so you don't need to see it anymore. Some shit is written so much it's like reading some scabby kids punishment exercise where he was made to write the same thing 1000 times No original thoughts to the extent that if a light wind blew past some of them the cavity in between their ears would sound like Link's ocarina blasting a fucking banger so hard that Epona whips up mollied out his skull ready for a rave

yes yes, for I will tel a tale from only months ago. I was at the park, taking a stroll. Decided to bring a friend of mine, who brought his 5 very young brothers; which were toddlers, but some of them brought friends of their own to enjoy. So as I sat down for a stroll on a swing, (hadn’t been able to go on one in what felt like eons) and while on the swing, some of the brothers came over and asked for the swing, of course, I let them have it; however, for some reason, the toddlers with their awful whisper volume, said, “well I’m glad that goofy ahh fucker is off this swing,” one said, with the other continuing, “child is from Ohio.” Well, so be it I said to myself, some people weren’t meant to be. But then the worst thing happened, one of groups of white toddlers from the brothers were going around pushing kids calling them racial slurs. Now I’m thinking about their parents, do they know their kids do this, to my surprise, most of them didn’t, and the ones who did said, “it’s so weird, my children are always saying this cruel crap everywhere, I don’t even know where on earth they are being taught this.” That my friends is why gen Z is messed up. Really hoping they can change, but never, never will you change fellers.
