Good morning friend, master of master teachers. I'm a technician but with much less experience, I'm still a beginner at the moment. about my problem that I'm trying to solve on my JVC Super VHS with noise popping up in the audio. Do you have a video posted that shows the audio problem and worn video head to help me with the diagnosis. This super video is my own for converting VHS tapes to digital format.

Good morning friend, I'm here from Brazil, I watch all your videos on your channel and I'm also a writer. I'm a technician with much less experience, I need a tip about a defect if you can give me some help. I have a super VHS JVC model HR-S7900u with audio noise after about 20 minutes of operation. It starts to make that noise, it keeps popping, the audio goes down and the noise overlaps the audio on the tape. I believe it could be the audio head or the amplifier stage of the audio head. because when I pass external audio through the inputs and outputs of this same super vhs there is no noise and the audio does not turn down after 20 minutes, there is no defect. If you could give me a tip or advice. because I am a beginner technician in these devices. The image of this super video is normal, only the audio makes noise and loses gain when playing any VHS tape. This video is mine for my own use, it could be the audio head or audio amplifier stages or source electrolytic capacitors lacking filtering somewhere on the board. I need technical help.

This was the first model of camcorder I ever used. My dad borrowed one from work, and I couldn’t put it down! Before that I’d only used a big old shoulder-mount camera with a long umbilical cord plugged into the back of the living room video recorder!

How can somebody who has already knackered the camera by removing bits of plastic and screws, misplacing some in the process, then expect it to come back not damaged

Well, no more damaged anyway. I think it must have had sentimental value to the family, which is fine.

Good afternoon friend, I apologize for the comment asking for assistance or technical assistance. Since our teacher doesn't want to help me. It may turn out that I will no longer ask the master of masters for any opinion. I'm just going to watch your videos and like them. Much success to our teacher

I previously asked by phone whether I could hand in a SONY Hi8 camcorder (parts) in a bag at the recycling center. Luckily the cassette was empty. But they no longer want to accept picture tubes without a device in Hamburg.👎

I had a camcorder years ago I can't remember what make, there was a power on/off switch on it. Nothing worked unless the switch was on. It was a pain to find as the markings had rubbed off years before I got it. LOL.

Yeah, I had two cases of stuck tape in a camcorder. One Hi8/Digital8 and the other miniDV, all it took was two wires touching the ends of AA battery after some disassembling, and since those were to be scrapped anyway nobody cared that I broke a ribbon connector and was left with loose screws I had no idea wjere to put.

Nice work, Colin - it's important that people trying to extricate tapes do it properly. Thanks again for recovering the video from my friend's Sanyo earlier this year.

I had this camera before, changed all the capacitors on all the boards including the sound, it worked for 6 months very well with good sound and picture quality, then the sound board had problems and I never dealt with it again

If a customer asks me to fetch out a tape from a dead miniDV, I certainly will.

Nicely done. I recall that TR-55 being a very popular model. Did quite a few 8mm tape extractions at work!

Years ago, we had a Sony Camcorder from 1989, where the video/audio output phono sockets had become intermittent, tried to fix it without success, they really pack the electronics into those things, with very little space left to get to anything!

Not sure why the customer wanted putting that camcorder back together? Just a low end composite and non functioning one.

There are any number of possible causes. But it might be that if you can get to the loading motor and get it to eject, then it might unjam and start working again.

@@video99couk yes i figured i tried unscrewing it and opening but it opens like , splitting in half if u understand what i mean, and i guess the loading motor is at the bottom so i have no clue how to get there, i put it back together to scared to damage it.

It really was very small considering the tape size. But serviceability suffered.
