Matt..... If there was EVER a case for a locked Diff - this is it! May need stiffer Shock Oil in the Rear too. I may not have done this - I've had a LOT of experience Racing 1/1... 😉 *LOVE the Paintwork!!!* 😎 Max Headroom lol. That takes me back - to High School!! (OLD man!) This looks like a lot of fun - but seems to be a LOT of prep, for "no prep". 😖 Please stay SAFE! 😷 Carmine ✈🚂🚙

Spool the diff and drop and stiffen the wheelie bar. On a drag car it's job is to keep the steer tires on the ground. Firm the shocks up and add weight to the front. Launch softer as wheel spin is your enemy.

Also, gearing on the turn motors can cause heating and damage issues. 16-19/84 is positive range. Top speed matters less than launch. A well balanced car will lay down faster times than an overpowered monster. The rx8 and 10 are easily programmed, be careful on timing. Over gearing can burn out esc and or motor. Good luck, great vids

I run the slash platform. I used 2 million in the diff and light 25w oil in the front and 60w rear stock slash shocks and springs no tension on front and the rears had adjustment collar so added some tension to the right rear and that helped with straightening my launches. Also when observing your runs I can see the chassis flexing. I am using the slash 4x4 roll bar from hot racing flipped 180 and the stiffened things right up.

yes, live axle also nicer on the launches, described my scratch build in another comment. CF arrows, a dremel, black sewing thread and CA to "weld" the chassis together. you can make ANYTHING with the method, want cross bracing? drill bit and 3 mm CF rod for the X braces, battery ladder floor, vertical posts for 1.5 mm plate to mount electronics.... the cool FUN, you get the body first then just build a chassis for it!

Set the speed control so you can roll into the power . I know you can with a castle link not sure if you can with that one and the only other thing is it takes a driver ....... like someone who can be a wheel man and blast off and steer like crazy... plus you want to set the wheelie bar so that when on the power the front tires hardly touch the ground. I did a bit of no prep and its all about tuning for the conditions..... good luck sweet car....
