When is the caustics branch going to be updated from 4.27.x to 5.0.x or 5.1 at least? We've been stuck for at least a year now on 4.27, and it's the fastest caustics-based rendering engine on this planet right now. Even on CPU with Swiftshader or Mesa's software-based Vulkan rasterizer (Lavapipe), it's faster than the fastest biased raytracer/unbiased path tracer--on CPU or GPU! We really need this alongside NvRTX 5.0.3 branch with DLSS2.x and RTXDI/RTGI, combined with NvRTX-Caustics-4.27 with DLSS2.x & RT caustics!!!

Yes- please integrate caustics into NvRTX 5! It's one of the most fascinating computer graphics experiences I've ever witnessed and I want to use it with Nanite so badly!

The caustic lenses shown in Steve Mould's recent video really got me imagining what they'd look like simulated with NVRTX Caustics.

The Restir GI in NvRTX Caustics 427 is also crazy fast ! Any feedback for NvRTX Caustics 5.1 will be more than appreciated !

@@jackywong4481 I had no idea that ReSTIR was being used in NvRTX-4.27. Great to know! I guess they don't call it RTXDI like they do in UE5.1. But it's great to know NvRTX Caustics has been updated from 4.27 to 5.1! Thanks for the notification.

Hey! I'm testing 5.1 NVRTX, and what i get into, wist as before, is UNBATCHED LIGHTS grabbing miliseconds of GPU time.Can you provide any explanation on NVRTX branch profiling hints and optimisation? It would be really helpful. And, of course, how to make lights BATCHED, as long as this batching process is what has to be done to provide optimal processing speed. Thank you! you are amazing!

Amazing Video , very informative, hope you guys sort out full easy integration even with eg: lumen so a full GPU utilization is done and better fps is achievable with grater budgets.

OMG. 160 gig, 8 hour build and the all plugins finally installed. The only problem is I cant find the ON switch!!! Does anyone know how to turn on the UE Nvidia control panel - toolbar?

Hi, I have watched the tutorials and followed all the steps for installation, after installation now when i try to use Epic Games Marketplace for the New NVRTXDI Enabled project in UE 5.3, iIm unable to add the 3d models from the marketplace since it's not showing up the newly created project in the "All projects" section. Please help

There is no Nvidia Rtx Global illumination plugin in NvRTX 5.1.0-1 release... I've build the engine, there are all plugins except this one. Can anyone give me some clarification?

@@dodgyyy yes, you should upgrade to visual studio 2022, then build from it. If the visual studio ask to install packets for correct building you should download what required. Build took 6,24 hours.

I'm not experienced with adding github code like this, since 3D is not my main work. Unfortunately the links from the NVIDIA page for UE5.1, UE5.2 & UE5.3 all take me to a page that says "this is not the web page you're looking for". I checked and my epic and github accounts are connected. I'm visually impaired and I don't want to start downloading and installing a bunch of the wrong stuff. Can someone kindly please point me to the current RTXDI install that I need to run in UE5.3.2?

Is there something more to this branch than the plugins? if I rebuild them for a different version will I get the features or is there more to it? I'm running 5.2 but would really like to use some of these features as well.

so I have this issue with visual studio it takes so much time to build and errors with both ue4 and ue5, isn't there a way to do it without visual studio?

Does anybody know if say SER can be compiled to work in other games that use materials like fallout 4 since that is easily moddable or is SER not programmed in that way and it only works in Unreal or your own projects? Just I don't want to start doing something like this then realise it was pointless from the start.

It feels like we're 10 years or more away before this level of rendering quality is available in regular games. It's still very demanding here even with a top tier PC and fairly basic scenes.

@@Stef3m Cyberpunks upcoming Overdrive RT mode is the only instance of RTXDI being used in games thus far. Remix will also be making use of it, so its definitely on the way in.

@@acer48 seems i have found the fix. aside from actual missing pages, github also shows 404 when the user doesnt have access to the repo. when i have followed the steps to link my epic account with my github account, i received an automatic email from EpicTeamAdmin with an invitation to their github page. after joining, it no longer shows 404 and instead downloads the plugin.
