Thanks for posting a good video with this amp head. It's good to see normal users playing with some fun peddles in the living room.

Tnx Derek, every time I get frustrated w/ the tone of my G5 (I have a Les Paul so it's even muddier than w/ the Strat) and consider selling it, I find some inspiration on KZitem including your videos and this is your best yet! BTW, your playing is getting better and better, great job man.

Also try adding a eq pedal thru your effects loop that's the best way to shape the limited tone of a cheaper amp

I liked the checking of the watch to see the gain was at 10-11 O'clock. :) Nice clarity in production. Good video.

Compressor, fuzz, tubescreamer, delay pedals and you're good to go. A noise supressor is good too since this amplifier buzz like a mad bee.

Nice Vid ! I just purchased the G5 1 month ago. My question is could You do a vid showing the wiring diagram for your pedal board and the the type of pedal & guitar cables you use ? I know they are so important to your sound & noise. Thanks in Advance

I'm not sure I will do a video of the wiring diagram. Basically in this video the front row is going into the input of the amp and the back row is in the effects loop. I use mostly Hosa brand cables. They work well for me.

Hey Derek, as I mentioned, I have a Les Paul and since you are taking requests for videos, I'd love to see if you have played around with the G5 and humbuckers.
