McCants don't watch games.. Wemby is on minutes restriction BECAUSE BRO TIRED. The Spurs are in top 5 of pace, he's never played this much basketball in a season before. Even his league he came from was slow and physical, scoring 90 points was a high scoring game. He's also had allergies for the 1st time over the last month and you can see him getting exhausted in the 1st quarter. He was on a restriction from an ankle mishap that started in houston and then tweaked in dallas and it took a bit over a month to get him cleared for 30 mins. He wasn't on restrictions for being tired ever. Pop never gave him over 35 minutes before the minute restriction and has never been known to give large minutes outside the playoffs. He only really been sick for the first part of February because of allergies. Also leagues in Europe are more physical because they don't have the nba's "freedom of movement" rule and doesn't have a 3-second rule so players can camp in the paint.

@@mitchDP13 that only feeds into my point. He doesn't have the conditioning to play more than 30Mins at a high level yet. You can tell most athletes and fans are dumb as hell because they instantly assume less teams = bad league, when in reality, less teams = the most competition possible (for the era). If there’s less teams, that means there’s less roster spots, and that means there’s a heavier concentration of talent. It should be common sense. For anyone too slow to follow: if there were only 8 teams today like in the 60s, there would be All Star level players sitting on the bench. The teams would be absolutely stacked. I was at the game. I called a quadruple double at the end of the first quarter. I think he had 5 assists in the first half. They pulled him right after he recorded the 10th block. That game was over in the third quarter, so he didn't need to play the fourth.

Why TF would Wemby leave the team he grew up watching as a kid? Spurs franchise ain't the Cavs who couldn't get LBJ help the 1st run in Cleveland

Not everyone cares about being in a big market, international players might even care less since they grow up rooting for players from their country. Wemby even said he wasn’t impressed with Madison Square Garden. San Antonio is the team he watched growing up, it’s where he wants to be. People who think otherwise are delusional.

Biggest star Knicks got was "surprise star" Brunson. Lakers got an oldass LeBron. Miami have never made a huge FA signing. But sure, "big markets rule"

The only thing that will prevent Wemby making 10 blocks per game when he's playing 40 mins is that opposing teams will start focusing on shooting 3 pointers.

McCants is wrong about Wemby's teammates not feeding him the ball. You can tell he doesn't watch games. Wemby has the highest usage rate amongst all rookies.

Next big star. But a real humble dude with solid family value and coming from high level family. Father was a long jump champ, Mother played for the french team at basket ball. His grand father was involved in pro sport to. Star is the limit.

It's crazy watching Brandon Jennings and McCants going back and forth laughing and talking nonsense blazed and high as a giraffe. At the same time, you see Gil constantly looking at his pants and his sweater, he's the dude that gets blazed and starts having panic attacks now he's like picking fuzz off of his shirt and trying to fold into himself like he doesn't exist. Lol you have every kind of high person here in one spot lol allegedly.
