It's always been my favorite film. Just a perfect blend of wonder and imagination couched in Python humor. It's my warm blanket movie.

every scene is so...COZY.. I have been watching it regularly for YEARS, and I realized that I felt that way.. it kind of hit me while watching one night.. it was the Napoleon theatre scene...it just HIT ME.. "wow..Gilliam really makes me feel surrounded by the set & the characters and the props.." just AMAZING

Amen. If you ever watch a film called Yellowbeard, it was made by a lot of the pythons, but without Terry directing. It doesn't have that warm feeling of place that their previous films had. He was intrinsic to the python's film success, imo.

I remember seeing this when it first came out on a probably illegal video on VHS as it was a friends house and we were all up late doing all sorts of things, as soon as it finished i watched the whole thing through again, then, as now, it resonated with me and i just knew this film was special, it was, still is, and always will be......................

A film that can not be unmade. It is ALL POWERFUL! Untouchable. Perfect English humor. All involved are immortalized.

I do concur with Terry & Michael....part of 'Time Bandits' appeal is just the amazing juxtaposition of different historical epochs so seamlessly blended together (which ultimately culminates in the Fortress of Ultimate Darkness)!!

I remember my dad trying to make sense of the movie he felt was so weird and made no sense. Especially the ending, which made me laugh til I fell over Mom Dad Don't touch it it's evil so they do. Such dark humour and the kind of movie point that Hollywood itself would never made for an ending.

Time Bandits was made in 1981. The kid would have been in his thirties when they made the Harry Potter movies.

Return what you have stolen from me! Saw this movie at the cinema, I was very young, the flying head of the supreme being is a brilliant character, very original movie, there’s nothing like it.

3:20 - if Palin's job was to know all the short people in history, he kind of failed. Napoleon mentions Charlemagne as a 5-footer, while he was well known to be of a tall stature, some estimates are just short of 2 meters.
