From July 1997, Glen Campbell sings the Jerry Reed-penned Johnny Cash hit "A Thing Called Love", and talks with host Gary Chapman about quitting smoking & drinking, doing "True Grit" with John Wayne, and doing the Goodtime Hour; Gary pulls out his copy of Glen's 1965 album "The Big Bad Rock Guitar of Glen Campbell", then shows a clip of what is likely the first music video ever made, Glen's 1967 promo film for "By the Time I Get to Phoenix", produced by Gene Weed, who is shown off camera in the studio (he was executive producer of the show); Gene was also the host of the 1960's syndicated music show "Shivaree", which Glen made several appearances on.
