Wow, I had stopped exercising for like 2 or 3 weeks and just started again with this workout... it killed me!! It's not that hard but I was shaking at the end haha Why is it so easy to get out of shape but so hard to get back in shape :'(

Same! With all this covid stuff I gained a few kilos and now I literally can't fit back into my school uniforms cause they're badly designed. I've been exercising like crazy and are really struggling to lose the weight but I'm trying so hopefully it'll work out before they let us go back to school in november.

I don't feel anything with the glute stretches at 7:47... I do it exactly how Kelly does it but I don't feel any stretch anywhere. Could I be already too flexible in that position to be able to feel it or am I doing it wrong?

Just because you can't do everything the same way Kelli does it doesn't make her video suck and doesn't mean you can't keep doing it. I used to be unable to touch my toes. Now My forehead is at my knees with flexed feet when I stretch toward them. Keep working at it, it isn't THEIR fault if you aren't willing to work toward it. This is an AMAZING stretch routine. It's the only one of theirs I use on a daily basis because I love this one so much.

My muscles were so sore from previous workout an omg doing these stretches felt sooo good my body feels less stiff now an the aches aren't bad anymore at all. Love it thanks guys 😀

I've been practicing yoga for 15 years, my heels don't touch the ground either. As soon as your heels touch the ground you have nowhere else to go, no more progress to make, the posture isn't helpful anymore. The way to get into downward dog with proper alignment is from a plank position. Keep at it. If you feel stretching happening, its working :)

Perfect stretch for after my cardio and strength workouts. I can do quite a few of the advanced yoga moves, but still don't have the flexibility for a backbend. Instead I substitute a bridge pose, which gives me a nice stretch without stressing my shoulders (any move can be modified for any level of flexibility and strength). Thanks for all the great videos you guys put out- this is one of my favorite fitness channels! :)

Last night I slept really bad and I have been tired all day. Now after doing one of your cardio workouts and this as a cool down, I feel so much better and my head isn't aching anymore. Thank you, I loved this one, I think I'm going to start doing that after every workout + cool down just for an extra relief. :-)

Couldnt do all the exercises, but my flexibility really improved by the end of the video. I was able to reach my toes with my hands, which doesnt happen often... great video!

Ok, so, is there a yoga video for morbidly obese people? We cannot physically go into MOST of these positions. It's so frustrating when I can't even do the first, simple pose. I'm lucky to reach my hands behind my back, let alone, WAY OVER MY HEAD like I'm some kind of rubber band. :-**(

Do as much as you can, and keep coming back to it. I started with this video 7 years ago & have done it at least a few times per week since. I have a muscle condition which makes me pretty inflexible, but this video has helped open me up so much over the years. ❤️

Hey you should really add roll on your back after the backbend, otherwise you can hurt your spine :) Great stretches, btw.

Please add techniques for people who are not this flexible or strong yet. It looks great for people who are fit and used to this already, but for newbies or people with an injury, WE NEED MODIFICATIONS to stay SAFE. If I had done this as is, I would be hurt!!

first 'workout' in years - thought 'don't go for anything too intimidating' - and am bush-ed! But the New Year is coming and I give myself a year to get to my goal of a size 14 (I think this a 16/18 in the US) that is my personal sweet spot. Am following your advice and holding fast to my personal goal and not societies demands. Thanks for this xoxo

With any particular lesson you learn the basic poses/movements and modify how long and deep you go into them on your own time. Cause I experienced the same thing - once something was feeling good I didn't know why we had to move on.

Loved this! Totally could not do the backbend and also I notice that when I do the downward dog positon I can't put my heels down as in I'm always on my tippy toes! Is this common? I tried to put my heels on the floor but every time I try it feels like I'm over-stretching my calves...any clue to how I can put my heels down?

Downward dog stretches out your shoulders and the back of your knees. The childs pose stretches the shoulders and lower back. And the scorpion stretches out your chest and shoulders. I am a gymnast and we do use these stretches before training if that helps at all?

just a few recommendations form a ballet point-of-view: don't round your back while going down in a butterfly stretch (a flat back helps you rotate your hips forward) and make sure your toes always face the ceiling when doing a stretch like at 7:46
