I've just watched part 1 and 2 back to back. Loving the sound of the beer as I'm a big sucker for a sour. I'm looking forward to seeing how the tasting turns out. Cheers mate 🍻 (P. S Still very jealous of your brew house!)

I am going to leave the fruit in until next Saturday then take another sample for FG, PH and taste.

Few gooseberries gone into that brew and even more to go in, the birds have eaten all from the plot . Just froze 3kg rhubarb to do a rhubarb beer again, we’ll try and do one.

Just hoping it tastes nice Steve. It will be an expensive mistake if it doesn’t.

Seem to recall from somewhere or someone that freezing the fruit helps it to breakup when it's thawed and added to the beer. Can't remember where I heard that or if I just imagined it, wouldn't be the first time 😂

I read exactly the same thing! I didn’t bother cleaning the fruit we just mashed it up and chucked it in😂 I was always a scientific person😂😂😂 well its a sour so not too worried about off flavours 😂
