This should have been a single by early 1977, after "Hot Line" had run its course. Another stupid missed opportunity by the Suits at Capitol.

YES! A soulful Karen Carpenter! ❤Angie's voice is sooo beautiful! No doubt this would've been a "crossover" hit. But, I'm guessing they didn't want competition.

This is one of the first song in fact this is the first song I heard that there was me and I fell in love with it immediately to this very day everytime I hear it I I get a little giddy inside I've ever think about that you from this the sweetness of young love and what it means in I look back at the little redhead girl on 7th Avenue in Fort Lauderdale Florida I think about Barber and Baker Willie pearl Smith I think about Shirley Solomon all those people remind me of this song going up in Fort Lauderdale was all about love and sunshine and the beauty of it all and these young ladies represented this song in a very special way

I simply cannot understand, for the life of me, why this song was underscored by white cartoon characters. I love this song and far too long many times songs sung by black artists were given the whitewash. Remember Little Richard's " Tutti Fruitti to Pat Boone"s version. I mean, GIVE ME A BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"White cartoon characters"? I'm pretty sure a lot if not all of those are supposed to be asian, many of them japanese specifically. Also why are the visuals even important?
