I have been building plastic Dark Ages-era units for Saga over the past 3-4 years. I started with Victrix, but switched to Gripping Beast -- and more recently, Wargames Atlantic for my warbands used in and . My personal preference is for kits that are versatile enough to be used in lots of different factions. For unarmored units (Warriors, Levies), I have found this Goth Warriors to be by far, the very As this review indicates, you have 5 body types, many head variants (bare and helmeted), and a wonderful array of weapon choices for building spear, sword, and shooting (bows, javelins, slings). It doesn't end there, though. The Goths also mix well with WA's Irish Warriors AND the Gripping Beast boxes (Anglo-Saxons, Vikings, Dark Ages, Irish/Welsh/Scots). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very helpful. Loved Victrix head on them. Now I'm thinking of adding some of these with Victrix heads and shields from Late Roman series. Bonus that there is a range of LBMS transfers already available with that route, including Goth patterns.
