Fact: To this day, no California Governor has signed into law more abortion-rights legislative bills than Reagan had during his 8 years as Governor.

How did that trickle down economics and de-regulation work out for ya. Good it brought the great depresion and the great recession.

+jorgecuervo24 Great depression was caused by government. Keep drinking the kool-aid... sheep. The "Great Recession" was 2 (Obongo, Clinton) and 2 Democrat-lite presidents (Bush 1, Bush 2) away from Reagan and his term. The Clinton surplus was a result of Reagan's economics.

@@regginretnuh5983 No, it was done by unregulated speculation of the economy, which became fraudulent. Reagan knew. Why do you think he was an FDR Democrat. Reagan was an opportunist who carried his Milton Friedman conversion from the skillful communicator that he was, into senility.

@@regginretnuh5983 you think George w bush was a Democrat-lite? He openly used Reagan in his speeches and tried to convey his policies were more conservative than his father. The reason why Reagan succeeded and w bush failed was Reagan had to work with a democratic Congress while w bush put in his policies unchecked by a Republican Congress supporting him.

If you want to play that card, the big government spending policies of the Democrats didn't do anything effective for the great depression for a decade and it only ended because of a wartime economy. The great recession also didn't have very much success with such policies until it had to work with a Republican house

@@regginretnuh5983 No, Clinton does get credit for the surpluses. If you remember he signed the Welfare Reform Reauthorization Act of 1996. This had a big effect on reducing Welfare roles and that contributed mightily to the surpluses in Clinton's last two years. Reagan couldn't get this done.
