Can't believe I used to solve these train questions by trying to manually map out the times. LCM never occurred to me. Love that I learnt this technique!

The train station picked good times- it will keep the station from being too crowded! I'm glad I didn't try and do that by hand (writing out each departure) which was my method before this video. Thank you!

Nice video (as alwyas). One might find effective to memorize (and operate) LCM and HCF via set operations (union and intersection): in LCM we combine the "sets"; in HCF we take only the shared terms.

Instead of writing blank I'm writing 5^0 etc so that it's formatted the same but equal to 1. That works best for my brain so I thought I'd share. Thanks so much for all of these videos.

Hello! Thanks for your nice video. I have a confusion in Verbal of the book "Official GRE Verbal Reasoning" (the thin one), Volume 1. Chapter 3, practice test 1: Easy, page 21, Question no 7. Kindly guide me on this question. I will be very thankful. The passage is about Douglas Martinson. I understand its explanation but my confusion is: how options B and E are wrong.

For the train, how does we tell from the question that we use LCM? Is there any keyword? (Any keyword for HCF?)

No real keyword, just have to use logic. The trains are coming in multiples of 18 etc.
