Very nice machine and review. I like how the Baltic Armor skid plate has that lip that comes up on the side of the footwell- just a little more material there than on the Ricochet's, which are also fine. Still debating between the base white/grey 2024 or the base 2025 in that dark grey/red.....same price from my dealer.

Thanks! I, personally, am a big fan of the 2025 base with the red/grey combo. First one I've like as much as my color scheme, though, I have always had red machines.

Thanks KC! The mudflaps have certainly helped and phone holder is real nice. It’s great being able to just twist it on and have it start charging! Nice rig! I love my Iron Baltic skid plates too. I've been thinking of a back-up light, but can't find anything I like. That PowerMadd might be the answer. You and your wife need to meet up with KC ATV down at Hadfield. They go down there a lot and it would be cool to see you in one of his vids. Just a thought - lol Thanx for sharin'!

Thanks Q! The IB skid plates are awesome. And yeah, the PowerMadd reverse light is pretty slick. I’ve been meaning to research it for the Rancher/Foreman/Rubicon to see if you can wire it in to automatically come on in reverse. I plow with my wife’s Rancher in the winter and it would be a very nice thing to have for that! Oh yeah, I watch all of KC’s videos and was thinking it’d be great to get KC ATV and the Q crew together for a ride sometime. I would LOVE to join in on that one! Thanks for tuning in! Ride on!

Love the channel just picked up 2 yamaha's 1 kodiak 1 grizzly time to drp $$ in upgrades and i love how yours looks. First off, welcome to the quad world! It's a great one, lol. When I initially installed the skids, I crawled under. It was not fun. Unfortunately, they do hold a lot of mud, etc. so I strip them and clean them a couple times per year. I have found that standing it up is the easiest way. I, luckily, have a large sideways branch in my back yard to which I can attach my winch to lift it up. I actually made the warning placard replacements myself. I used my wife's Cricut to cut out the designs and then spray painted. I used the back of the original placards. I screwed them back in as I couldn't find the right size black rivet. Thanks for checking out the channel!

@michaels8775 I change oil every 500 miles (less than 60hr) or at the end of riding season when I know it’s going to be sitting for a couple months. I do differential oil every OTHER time I change motor oil. I have not done a valve adjustment.

@blaze_atv
Жыл бұрын
A lift doesn’t really fit my riding style. I don’t do big mud and therefore don’t need to fit bigger tires. We usually cruise about 12-18 mph and all I see a lift doing is negatively affecting the handling around bends, etc., not to mention the added wear and tear on the machine. I can understand why people would want to lift them, but it’s not for me.
