Nice guy and I appreciate him stepping forward. However, making the BIG declaration at the Convention (to Republicans) that "golly gee" Democrats are patriots too! WOW. Goes to show the bubble that Repubs have been in for years. Warped from brainwashing. Sigh. They never understood that our history was never just BLACK AND WHITE ( like the Vietnam War for example). We Dems dissected issues and weighed and used critical thinking. On the other hand Repubs have always been more herd-like in their group behavior. THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE WEREN'T PATRIOTIC ALL THIS TIME, ADAM.

What annoys me is how Biden gets blamed for the Pentagon’s failure to plan the pull out. Biden made it clear for years that he wanted out of Afghanistan. Trump negotiated the date to withdraw. A date that gave the Pentagon plenty of time to plan how to pull out. It’s clear the Pentagon expected Biden to fold the same why Obama and Trump folded when they came into office and were convinced to stay in Afghanistan. Biden stuck to his guns; the Pentagon dragged its feet. Biden gave a little ground and extended the deadline and Pentagon continued to drag its feet. The deadline came and Biden did what Trump had negotiated and Biden said he was going to do and the Pentagon floundered.

My concern is for the women in states with bans that are putting the lives of women in jeopardy that even want children. If they have complications during their pregnancies and/or are no longer viable for various reasons, so very many are not getting the healthcare they need. The laws are written in such a vague manner and Doctors and medical workers are being threatened with loss of medical licenses, huge fines and prosecution with prison sentences. This is insane. Some people, shockingly even some ill-informed women, think everybody just gets pregnant and then a healthy baby is born. Many, many dangerous scenarios can happen while a woman is pregnant, requiring medical intervention. Doctors do not have time to consult with attorneys to find out if they are legally able to intervene (example, is she close enough to death?!), especially in emergency situations. This is affecting these women's very lives, their chances to ever get pregnant again, their overall reproductive health, etc. This is a nightmare and many want a national ban. These things are actually happening in this country!!

Guys, we took Trump down with fear mongering in 2020. As you can see from the polls, optimism is working better than the “existential threat” strategy😮. Shouldn’t be, but it seems to be true. At this point, it’s up to you guys to bring the Republicans to the polls for Kamala. The Dems have reached out and left the door open. They shouldn’t have to drag them or beg them. She knew he called his supporters basement dwellers, she knew he lied, he even told her it doesn’t matter what you say as long as you say it often enough people will believe it. Why did she only resign at the end knowing all the things she knew about his character and him as a person? Tim and Bill, thanks for holding conservatives accountable for either actively supporting Trump, or perhaps worse, staying silent while privately admitting how dangerous he is. Briefly, while I'm liberal, for ten years, '91-2001, I was a Trump fanatic, caught up in all the media blitz he was getting even then. My fanboy haze slowly ended when after reading/watching every book and documentary on Trump - countless times - this realization hit: Trump destroys everything he touches! All the chaos we see Trump causing now, he was causing back then - just mostly in New York and Atlantic City. You see, Trump is like an amoeba, a simple-celled organism driven by instinct to consume everything. Chaos and division come naturally to him; he is incapable of moderation, self-restraint. Yes, Trump is uniquely dangerous. Kamala and Tim (the other one 🤣) must win in November. To all, Vote Blue like your lives depend on it! ✌
