Thank you! Just went out and stuck a ginormous farmers market organic garlic bulb in my tub of beautiful romaine lettuce. Planted under 1 inch of soil. That’s got to be the fastest planting that I’ve ever done. Took me 5 seconds.

I'm in zone 7A (VA) and have been holding off planting my garlic. We've had several mid-20 degree nights, but also many mid-60 degree afternoons. We're expecting freezing rain and ice within the next 10-days, so I'll be getting them in the ground this weekend. I haven't tried organic garlic, so I may grab some and give it a go. Thanks again!!

I’m in zone 9a just north of Houston. I need help pls. Tried 2 years in a row with hardneck. In ground and in a raised bed. Refrigerated the bulbs then to a raised bed and they all split. In the ground and they came out looking like onions. Do they need manures? That was my next plan. Been using organic soil.

They don't need manure, just a good soil. I have never heard of putting them in the refrigerator.

Hi, I have a green stalk and wondered if I could use that to grow my garlic. I have 30 pockets and would put just one in each. I know this has to be done in the fall, I live in NJ, but once it's planted, what do I cover each opening with and does it get watered? Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
