In this video, I am comparing two of my concert guitars that I am currently playing: a traditional spruce top guitar made by Douglass Scott, and a double cedar top guitar made by Martin Blackwell. Both makers are based in British Colombia, Canada.
After talking about the specifics of each instrument, I test each instrument's bass and treble registers, their melodic capabilities, their response and overall balance, and I talk about what I look for in a concert guitar.
