I love how eclectic their sound is throughout their different albums. They can do straight-up rock, hard rock, punk, grunge, slow ballads, pop rock, some of their songs sound nu metalish, etc ...and they can do everything really well.

The Warning played both this song, and "S!ck" here at Jimmy Kimmel, but only "S!ck" was shown on TV. The entire album is out now, dropped right after the show aired. After you filmed this, and posted your analysis video, mtv posted both of those songs and an interview, from their mtv Push appearance. Push is an mtv series that highlights an artist each month. They are Push artist of the month currently.

As rock bands go, their stage presence is second to none. Both Dany (guitar) and Pau (drums) are very expressive performers, while Ale (bass) is the cool cat on stage. 😎👍

How did you hear the song with all the talking & analyzing??
@Biomirth
Ай бұрын
It's what being a musician is, only usually all the talk is in one's head. When you get really familiar with something you can watch while you think about it and talk and still get everything. You'll just have to trust me on that I s'pose.

@Biomirth did a good job of explaining it! When you're playing a gig, you need to hear yourself (instrument & vox), hear everyone else, be aware of the stage, where everyone is standing, move around and still have some brain space left for thinking. Oddly enough sometime you totally switch off from all of that and start to plan the next day, or what you'll eat when you get home!

Nice reaction. Wish you would have done the MTV Push version. The mix is so much better than the Kimmel audio. Kimmel was a great opportunity for the band and great exposure to a wider audience, but sadly the mix was rubbish. Guitar and lead vocal centric while the drums were very thin, the backing vocals were too low, and Ale's bass was too quiet.
@JbfMusicGuitar

will need to check that out that version! I suppose Kimmel isn't set up for music the same way MTV is, so the latter is bound to sound better!

If you're constantly talking over the music, you're not REALLY listening. I've been a musician my entire life, and I've found that (so-called) 'musician' reacters are the WORST. I add you to that list. I'm sincerely glad that you like The Warning though.

Sorry to hear that, as a musician I though you'd also have that musicians ear thing where you can talk/play/do something while still listening? My approach isn't for everyone and I hope you find the kind of thing you're looking for!

@@JbfMusicGuitar, clever attempt at trying to condescendingly dismiss me as a musician with your absurd passive aggressive insult. I stand by my comment. You're either COMPLETELY laser focused without ANY DISTRACTION or you're not. PERIOD. Professional musicians train and discipline themselves to totally focus while amateurs don't. Have a good day.

@@gregoryvlchek269 not meant to be passive aggressive mate, I've genuinely never spoken to a player who didn't do this- was interested in how you mange it without stuff being on auto pilot or getting in to that flow state? Isn't it just totally exhausting?

Just a tip.. If yoy are going to talk that much could be better if you judt pause the video for some seconds.. you are just losing half of the song while talking about it..
