Today I’m going to make 'Gungjung tteok bokki', Royal Stir-fried Rice Cake.
This dish traditionally served in the royal court. It’s non-spicy tteok bokki because it’s made without red pepper paste. So t’s often called ‘Ganjang tteok bokki’, soy sauce tteok bokki as well.
It tastes very similar to Japchae and Bulgogi. That means... super delicious🤩🤩!!!

👉YOU WILL NEED(for 2 servings):
Rice cake (200g / 0.4lb)
Soy sauce ½ tsp
Sesame oil 1 tsp
Beef sirloin (150g / 0.3lb) - cut thinly
Carrot (20g / 0.04lb)
Onion (20g / 0.04lb)
2 Shitake mushrooms
-Marinade for beef -
Soy sauce 1.5 tbsp
Sugar 1.5 tbsp
Minced garlic ½ tbsp
Sesame oil 1 tsp
Toasted sesame seeds 1 tsp
a pinch of ground black pepper
