I love that you set aside the tools you need PRIOR to the start of the task - I think that is key to success!

Just got my night rod a new back fender and airbox, grips and clutch/brake. perfect video to install. I just hope I get the adjustment correct for the throttle, it looked like you can set it too loose and prevent the engine from fully opening up. thanks for the fantastic video.

Since you're replacing the airbox, I would DEFINITELY replace the throttle cable while the air box is off. Easier to access & see from above. Good luck!

its much easier to install the cables into the throttle grip last, other than that I think you put together a well-planned video. Thanks

Thanks! When I lube the cables I now do it that way. It is, in fact, much easier! 😁

Great video. I am in the process of doing the same, waiting for the throttle cable. Is more easy if you remove the bottom of the airbox.

Yes! It is WAY easier to access the throttle body if the inner airbox is removed! I can't remember why I was avoiding removing it when I did this video. Good luck to you!

I just bought a V-Rod muscle 2015 and I discovered your videos they are very helpful. Keep up the good work. Oh by the way where did you get the adjustable clutch and brake levers
@Doubletap6996

So your clutch lever is adjustable and your brake lever is not is that what I see on your video

Yes, when I got the adjustable lever, I think only the clutch was available at the time. Or the brake wasn’t bothering me as much. Can’t remember! But the lever is made by Oberon & available in the US through Hog Leverage. www.hogleverage.com/shop/
