Honestly, I did the big chop in April and I went completely bald and I've never felt so ugly and unattractive as a woman. It's crazy how much I associated hair with my femininity, but I don't regret it at all. Your hair looks beautiful!!!

Alopicia affects more females of African descent than anyother groups of people. This is mainly due to over manipulation of our hair, for example braiding,, pulling the hair back into tight pony tails and weaves. I can't believe the amount of teenagers with scrappy edges or none at all, it's scary. Parents need to teach their daughters how to properly care for their hair and the dangers of certain styles and chemicals. Majority of our hairdressers have to be the most uneducated because many times they won't encourage good hair practice, thank god I kept away from them for the most part. The best oil to use on your scalp is joaba oil as it's the closest which resembles the natural oil our scalp secreets. Just try not to do too much with your hair.

I am a male and i have your same type of hair ...what is it ? I mean what type of hair do we have ? Afro straight ? Straight afro ?... It is the kind of hair that they go everywhere on every direction, If I comb them with hot hair dryer they easily become straight and weavy, if I wet the hair and leave them wet they curls 🤣... it is difficult to manage them ...but I love it

I am hairdresser by trade, and I have seen and heard everything there is to hear. About hair loss in many cases negligence, products being used the wrong way, or not timed right, or over-processed. So on my opinion many hair loss is negligence of the hairdresser or both. (U and your hairdresser) the reason I'm saying this, Is that people... U must do research of a product before you put it in your hair. For example in. My 30ys being a hairdresser I never Once put a new product in my customers hair without testing it on myself... 2C how it will react.. LSS =(LONG STORY SHORT) with the exception of my white customers. That's a story 4another day.. Like I said above genetics playes a role. But I find, many hair loss is caused by human error, women. PLEASE PLEASE STAY STAAAAAY FAR AWAY, INFECTED RUN IF ANYONE COMES NEAR YOU WITH GLUE. LET ALONE A HAIRDRESSER... Those of you that have no clue what I am writing about I will give you a ST. OF it people put glue all around the hairline then put a piece of weave or wig duh . I have want those people whom are practice this to tell us how in the name of God would they be able to take that weave of without pulling hair follicle out!?? If they started hairdresser they must know that when loss hair follicles that earlier you pulled the hair. The hair WILL NEVER GROW BACK AGAIN.... ANOTHER THING TO WATCH OUT WIGS FOR, for some reason I I found wig wearing people they have no hair all around the hairline. Stay away from GLUE AND WIGS. UNTIL THE WIG MAKES IMPROVE THEIR PRODUCT. A LOT OF HAIR PRODUCTS 4 BLACK SHOULD BE BURDEN... SOME OF THEM BURN YOUR SCACP... SOME PRODUCT STINKS SO BAD... BUT AS WE ALL KNOW, NO ONE IS COMPLAINING. WE BLACK (NEVER SO EMOTION IN PUBLIC)... IT MAKES SICK 4 THE STUFF we go THROUGH without a word!!!
