We were going to replace the 20" Bar and Chain for the Stihl 028AV, but we decided to see if we could get more miles out of this one.
We didn't have access to one of those roller devices that bring the rails of the bar together, so instead Dad used a hammer and the scrench to tune the bar.
This will keep the chain from wiggling so much in the cut, and create less ripples in the cut for a smoother surface to the finished cut.
We did this same tune for the old 28" bar attached to the 056AV. You'll get to see how that one cuts now in the next video!
For now, you'll get to see the better cuts this 20" bar now makes in the wood while milling.
