It’s such a vibe when Japanese animes are translated to Arabic and then aired onto spacetoon.

American here, I am unfortunately one of the unluckiest groups of people born on 8/26/2002 who weren't into anime back in the 2000's and missed out on this. I discovered this anime a year or 2 ago and I found a video of this anime in my recommended, I kinda liked it, at the time, I was developing an interest into Arabic dubs of all my favorite cartoons like SpongeBob for example, I loved watching SpongeBob as a kid and I looked up the Arabic dub once day and it's surprisingly very good, same with this beautiful piece of Japanese theme music, Arabic really fits in with the music, we had our original intro of this show beginning with "It's Hamtaro Time!" with the English names and English everything. Arabic IMHO, is a really beautiful-sounding language and sometimes if the Arabic vocals are at the right tone, pitch, and speed, it can fit in better than the original dub of the theme song of the show's country of origin, Hamtaro's Arabic theme song is a perfect example of this. The dubbing is perfect! I absolutely love how it sounds! I'd learn the language, but it's too hard for me cuz I'm a native English Speaker and Arabic is one of the most difficult languages for English speakers to learn, same with Japanese. I really like that language as well, in fact, it's #1 on my list of favorite languages, but it's also one of the most difficult languages to learn, I think even next to Arabic and Mandarin Chinese.

If anyone is curious, here are the lyrics in Arabic: English translation: Do you know who Hamtaro is? A small beautiful creature He lives in a cute house He runs on a light (hamster) wheel Do you know who Hamtaro is? Friends love Hamtaro Hamtaro treats them well in return ( or he loves them in return) Always remember, children Through cooperation we can achieve the impossible (Repeat of the first half) Enjoy! :3 If you would like the pronunciation, I can do that too.

Okay, here it is ;) Hal ta'rifoona man huwa Hamtaro Makhlooqun hulwun saghirun Hamtaro Ya'eeshu fi baytin lateef Yaduru fi dulabin khafif Hal ta'rifoona man huwa Hamtaro Al asdiqa'u yuhibbuna Hamtaro Wa bil ikha'i yubadiluhum Hamtaro Tathakkaru dawman ya atfal Bil ta'awuni nuhaqiqu l muhal Al 'asdiqa'u yuhibbuna Hamtaro ( It just repeats after this) *Notes on pronunciation: -I have used apostrophes here in the place of two things. The first is the letter ع in Arabic which has no English equivalent. It is pronounced as a deep, rolling, somewhat guttural sound. You actually have to move the folds at the back of your throat for this. (If you still find this confusing, just type the letter in on Google Translate and it will pronounce it for you, but I wouldn't recommend Google Translate for any other purposes; the phrasings and translations are quite flawed). -The second thing I have used apostrophes for is glottal stops. Luckily, I can explain this in English :) This is like the sound the letter "A" makes when it is at the beginning of a word,or the way you would pronounce "Uh", or "Ew". Notice that hard sound at the beginning of each of these? ( If you are confused on how to tell what each apostrophe signifies, I suggest you listen along with the video, and you will be able to tell.) -"Kh" is used in place of خ. - "Gh" is used in place of غ. (pronounce both of the letters together with the H rather than just softening the K or G) -There is a soft "H", and a hard one ( ه ,ح) Similarly, there is a hard "T" and a soft one (ط, ت), as well as a hard "th", and a soft "th" (ذ, ث) (you can tell very easily by listening to the video). And that's it! If you'd like some more help, don't hesitate to ask. Enjoy, and happy learning :D
