I think it's a shame we never got to see Peter Ramondetta come back after BATB IV, he did well in BATB 2 only losing to Cory Kennedy who at the time was tearing it up. Then, lost to Mike Mo is a real close game.

I've met and skated with Cody Cepeda and hadn't seen his BATB matches, prior. Let me tell you, he's as chill as he is good and never mentioned BATB to me. Type of dude to see you from across the skatepark and wave to greet you. I actually never went and looked up all of his BATB wins but it seems like he's done pretty well.

If you're into gaming, I think that would be a good way to grow your channel more. There is a lot of data already there (K/D, wins, score pet minute) you can maybe use that to determine who's most likely to win, who is the true best (more focus on SPM and not overall score) putting things into consideration such as teammates, gun power and game modes and all the good stuff. The gaming scene seems to rely more on luck so this could be fun

My man DD. I'm a huge fan & I love all your skate-related videos. You ought have waaaay more subs. Great voice & tone also. You have serious structure in your speech. No youtuber does that as top-notch as you do. Gotta say I have criticism for you in how you term some tricks. I've been putting this off. A hardflip is not a FS/BS trick. It's reverted after the flip. And for the inward varial heelflips you speak of shane/sewa/luan etc doing the proper term is nollie/fakie big inward heelflip. *There is no such thing as a half cab varial/inward heelflip.* That trick is not FS/BS at all. It doesn't apply to the above tricks. Please take the criticisms for what they are.
@dumbdata34
2 жыл бұрын
I can agree that it's correct to call them nollie/fakie bigspin inward heelflips, but why can't you also call them halfcab/nollie fs inward heels? Your body is turning the same way as if you did a halfcab heelflip or nollie fs heelflip, but adding an extra 180 spin hence inward (bs shuv + heelflip).
@bridgeboy4582
2 жыл бұрын
@@dumbdata34 it's simple. For the same reason there is no such thing as a BS 360 flip or FS lazerflip. Same logic applies to all hardflips/varial flips & heels. Also no such thing as a big hardflip of any sort. For that I sometimes feel like the people naming the tricks in BATB could be some the same ones calling Tampa contests. They have no business naming the tricks. Tell me if you have any merch anything like that. I wanna get some & support you.

Lol, ladd was coming out of his prime for these and still dominated everyone, he was in 4 finals in a row, winning 2 of those back to back. He won of would batb 1 also if the ref's were more legit, benny fairfax was a total fluke, and ended up just getting wrecked the last match it was a huge let down. Everyone was waiting for Ladd vs mike mo. The time Prod beat Pj in the championships was literally the first time prod has beaten pj ever, in his entire life and theyd played hundreds of times, they used to be teammates on Es, ladd and prod came up together. The morgan smith battle was weird, at the time morgan smith was a newcomer and i feel like ladd let him win or something so he could shine, i know morgan stated his favorite skater was pj and is a huge pj fan, idk but morgan smith didnt really show his face much after, not into his style either. Seeing ladd wreck Nikes little prodigy Shane Oneil was fucking great. Luann cant match pj at this point, unless he gets in 4 finals in 4 years, and wins 2 of those ina row, with both others runner ups. Ladd showed alot of the shane oneil and new skater fanboys wich there was tons of at the time, that they aint really shit, and the real kings arent finished. Idk what lads deal is these days but, hes still the most consistant flatground skater, and had arguably the best style at onepoint. Watch how hes landing his tricks in the Ladd vs Reynolds match, all i gotta say is if ur a reynolds fan ur gunna cringe lmao. Ladd was slicker the slick landing aces back to back to back.
