Easy to check. He can just filter by BATB tournament. set it to BATB1 and see the consistency for each trick back then. If you pick a particular trick and check the consistency for BATB1 vs BATB13, if the consistency has improved, then yes, skaters have progressed and tricks that were harder are now easier/more successful. If the consistency level is pretty similar...then the tricks that were attempted havent gotten easier, they prob just added new tricks that were less consistent.

@@irishRocker1 Here is the thing, a lot of tricks weren't even DONE in the early 4 or 5 BATB, it was mostly your run of the mill type of tricks being done until they ran out of 180 flip variations and stuff like that. It wasn't really until guys like Sewa came along and started consistently pulling those weird tricks off that the BATB scene changed. The "weird' tricks in the early seasons were just Mike Mo doing stuff like cab bigger flips or the occasional double or triple flip from Billy Marks maybe. PRod with his nollie backfoot 180 flip. But once Sewa came out the gate with 5shuv, 5flip, hardflip fs 180, Nollie front foot flip, etc, the game was changed from there on out. Because the game of skate is usually viewed as a warm up amongst friends before a skate session. Most people warming up aren't exactly trying to do a nollie kickflip 360. If you watch BATB 1-5, that's always how games were played for the most part. Those were all pros though. Now they invite random skateboarders in who want to make a name for themselves so that mindset goes out the window entirely, and it makes for a more boring product. Shame Giger hasn’t had a win. He’s got the talent to win the whole thing. The game can be very mental, and Zach has been super hungry lately. I wanted them both to win somehow.

no he obviously doesn't. how many tries do u think it takes him to land those crazy stupid tricks for his socials😅 and ppl try n say he's better than Rodney lol he can do all the late forward doubleflip varial reverts he wants to, but it takes him 73 tries to make his videos and the fact he's never won at all proves he ain't as good as social media makes him out to be. proof that tik tok/ KZitem skaters aren't as good 99% of the time💯

@@eatassonthefirstdate I’ve watched him play many games of skate, he’s usually more consistent. I’m not saying he’s the best, but he is definitely talented enough to be here.

@@Colby_Earleywine I feel it, I'm not saying ur wrong, or tryin to be a dick & argue, I just have a thing against tik tok skaters who do all the nonsense tricks on flat when I know damn well they'll never do em down stairs or a gap or on any real rails cuz it'll take em 50 tries and a prayer to land these tricks. they have kids fooled into thinking they're the best, but they don't have sponsors, they don't got contest wins or even a video part out. then these kids are in the comments calling them the GOAT? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Johnny is probably the best flatground skater around. He should have started a bit more reserved

he's good at circus tricks. that probably take 100 tries to get on film. That's the problem with 99% of tik tok social media skaters they have everyone thinking they're gods. so now Giger has lost 3x in the first round and u say he's the best flat ground skater? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 mad glazing out here in these KZitem streets

i like giger, but he had a bad attitude when defending the basics. It made him look bad.
