@@hiraeth195 To the normal persons vision Giedi Prime's sun is literally black because it emits mostly infrared light, this is why Harkonnens are so pale, they lack normal sunlight. For viewing experience everything is made white, because it is filmed by infrared cameras. But in reality scene should be almost black, with just slightly faint red tint because Giedi Prime's sun emits, not much, red visible light. "But why prisoners cover their eyes when walking out?", I think it is to stress the dark hole they were put in prison. If slight red tint is so blinding to them, normal person cannot even start to imagine the darkness they were put in both physically and metaphorically. P.S. that is why Harkonnens walk in these absurd black space suits during the day on Arrakis, such harsh sun is toxic to them. Also, Harkonnens attacked Arrakis during night and then they did not wear these black spacesuits because they felt themselves comfortable in the night. "But Feyd-Rautha walked without suit during attack on sietch Tabr!", well he's psychotic and masochist, of course he did not wear any protection, he enjoyed the pain. It is harder to explain Baron and Rabban, but that is most likely a concession for visual experience.

It's because Geidi Prime orbits a K-Type Brown dwarf in a trinary star system. The light they get is high in infrared, so that's why when in the dark hallways you can still see everyone still has pigment (even the Harpies skin tone), but when walking into the sunlight they get bathed in infrared light, changing the visible color tone.

@@jaywhite15_ALyup i have been saying something similar all though not to your precision. Also i read that one guy said "no auch stars exist" but a simple google search revealed otherwise because until recently, those stars were "invisible" to us.

The design is so well thought out. I think its no coincidence that the shape of the tower where the baron hovers is essentially the shape of the bene gesserit clothes in their robes and veil. And when the camera zooms in on it, it cuts back to lea seydous character.

I saw the movie on release day, nearly cried from how beautiful and terrifying everything about this scene was, and immediately tried to find it on KZitem when I got home only to discover no upload of it yet. Fine. It was JUST released after all. But when I tell you I searched day after day after week after week and only NOW is there a full upload? I spent those weeks tortuously trying to remember everything about it while listening to the soundtrack. Even my imagination couldn’t compare to the actual thing now that I’m finally able to watch it. This is art.
