Harold James, Professor of History and International Affairs at Princeton University, and Claude and Lore Kelly Professor in European Studies, presented a lecture on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, as part of the LEF-Academy lecture series focusing on "Globalization and the Idea of the West."
Harold James is an author and economic historian specializing in the history of Germany and European economic history. He holds the position of the Claude and Lore Kelly Professor in European Studies at Princeton University. Additionally, he serves as Professor of History and International Affairs at the Woodrow Wilson School, and as an associate at the Bendheim Center for Finance. James also directs the Program in Contemporary European Politics and Society, and contributes a monthly column to Project Syndicate.
