The only other time slowing down a track and adding reverb has had this much effect on a song for me is "inlove" by Sewerslvt. But goddamn, this version of the song is even more wonderful than the orignal on Deathconsciousness. It really does feel like being deep in reflection, thoughts like an ocean in which you're slowly sinking to the botton, drowning at a glacial pace, failures and regrets like sea monsters. Simply wonderful. I've been seeing different covers of this song as of late, a beautiful piano version, 'A Quick One Before the Eternal Worm Devours the Orchestra', 'A Quick One Before the Eternal Worm Devours Appalachia' which still remains my favourite. It's nice to see this tune getting this recognition

I love this version of the song more than the original because while the original version represents the despair and acceptance of your mortality catching up with you, the slowed one adds more of a sorrow and heavy feeling, making it a more difficult process to digest

Song perfectly captures the crushing banality of low-functioning depression. I'm so tired.
