I love this. My mom grew up in Keighley. She then moved to the US in her 20's. All her side of the family still live in the area and I have sooo many memories of coming there and walking up and down Main Street as a kid! We would always stay in Haworth whenever we would visit at either the Old White Lion or the Haworth Old Hall. I really MUST get back there one day.

In the 1980's I used to work as a volunteer on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, based at Haworth. There was a fantastic atmosphere and camaraderie. We got the job done, and on a Saturday night after work, and with quite a thirst if it had been a day out on the the footplate, went up into the village to have a pint or two at the "Black Bull" or some Timothy Taylor's in "The Fleece" and afterwards walk down that pathway to the station to pick up a "fish supper" from Eric's in Mill Hey and have with a mug of tea in the mess room before turning in. Always up in good time on Sunday though, to get about our work , either with the locos, or out along the the line in the beautiful countryside with the p/way gang. Thanks for bringing back those memories, I wish I could go back and do it all again!

Those are some wonderful memories - thank you so much for sharing them with us! The K&WVR really is a hidden gem of Yorkshire, and it's the dedication and passion of people like yourself who have worked on it over the years that make it such a wonderful attraction to this day - so I'd like to thank you very much for that! Haworth too is a gorgeous place, and I'm sure you've had many a great day there in the pub and walking the streets, along with working in that stunning countryside scenery :) Thank you so much for watching - I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and that it brought back some nice memories!

@@LetsWalkUK Yes, One of the workers there had a very intelligent collie, who once he trusted me, I used to take for walks in the area on summer evenings before going to the pub.
