Jordan would make it personal. It is just the way he is wired. And I love it. I guess it is now common to brag and showboat in the NBA just like the NFL, for showmanship. But I think at that time in the NBA, there is an unwritten rule that you celebrate like that when you already won the championship. Don't teach kids how to devalue winning and taking celebrations as normal as scoring a bucket, that belongs in the streets, not in the highest level of professional sports...see word professional. That's why he only celebrated with a fist clenched like saying "Yes!" rather than showboat.

That's the main difference between LeBron and MJ...there have been plenty of current and former players say that no one fears LeBron, nit because he's not great, but because of his personality. Players actually FEARED MJ, and when they show boated against him, like Walker, Miller, Garnett, and other young players, they never did it again. It took practically nothing to get MJ into kill mode...dude was just a straight savage. Kobe and Bird are the closest I have seen to Mike as far as that goes, but no one has truly been on his level. Young people just don't know what they missed, and what a crazy competitive and intense NBA they they missed as well.
