Looking Back at this video, I Don't think I quite made this point. Neither driver is better than its predecessor. So your options are save money on last years model and hope you a have the right shaft and loft combo for your swing or if you were to get fitted this year i would suggest the Cobra SZ purely on the price point. both are as good as each other.

I would disagree sir. A lot of heavy testing shows that while you pick up a only a degree or 2 of balls speed from last years model on both sim and m5, the gains this year come from stability. So you gain a few yards but find a lot more fairways? I’m game for that.

I like how honest you are in regards to new drivers and the lack of need to rush out and buy them. I think a lot of KZitem reviewers are part of the problem of people wanting to have the newest shiniest driver as they constantly go on about how great they look and sound and how they're numbers are so much better! For the majority of us a good driver from within the last 5 years would probably do just as well. We know that they have more or less maxed out the distance barrier so it will be interesting to see what type of flannel they come up with next. Keep up the good work Simon👍🏼

Not sure what the headweight is on the Speedzone but, last year on the Speedback, it was one of the lightest heads out there. I bought the Hzrdus yellow 75 gram shaft with a midsize grip because my buddy had it in his PING LST and I swung it and murdered it. Well, that counterbalanced shaft screwed the swingweight in my Speedback and it was not as good as that PING. I eventully replaced the the 2gram weight with a 12 gram weight and oh boy. Ballspeed jumped up 8mph and the clubhead feels heavy in my hands which is what I prefer. If you buy a Speedzone, get the swing weight checked because with my counterbalanced shaft, I was at a D0. Adding weight to that head makes it jump off the page. Just my two cents.

I appreciate your integrity and candid opinion when reviewing these new 2020 drivers. Most of the other Golfing KZitemrs all appear to overreact when reviewing the new driver releases from TM - Cobra - Callaway - especially with the reference to the sound - feel - and they react all giddy with the performance when they are hitting the drivers for the first time -' it feels so fast of the face' Then they review the numbers and they are exactly the same as 2019/2018/2017. It is becoming very predictable and a little boring. I purchased an Epic Flash last year with a Graphite Design ADDI Premium shaft - I went into the new swing studio at Letchworth Golf Club and I was so over the top I was hitting my driver 220 carry - 230 total and my M4 3 wood 240 carry 260 total. I think I will invest in driving lessons before I am tempted to buy the TM SIM on looks!!

Speed zone, Sim, Mavrik, G410, M6, Epic, etc... New gear, new name every year. Enough is enough. It makes me dizzy... At the end, no difference for average golfers (95% of us) as long as you take the trouble to fit your driver, and more broadly your clubs.

So, basically you are creating a video on 2 drivers that have EXACTLY the same sales points as the Callaway Mavrik yet you didn't review that one on some BS moral high ground you seemed to have. Seems a little bit biased here. I respected your Mavrik review and what appeared to be your honesty.....until now. Seems a bit like your issue is with Callaway pricing alone and not the claims they make. What about the Mavrik ion terms of sound, feel, forgiveness? Perhaps the shafts it comes with as standard. Maybe, its more expensive than the Tailormade and Cobra due to R&D costs etc
