We lost our daughter as still-born and then had a miscarriage around 8 weeks. I wish no one ever had to go through it. For people that haven’t been through it, they think we’re stronger and learned more about life for it. But the reality is that we’re scarred for the rest of our lives and we don’t care about strength or life lessons, we just want our babies. For most days, all that’s left is sadness and wonder for what could’ve been. There is no amount of strength or bravery or courage or life lessons or anything else that I’d rather have than my baby. I’d trade it all if I could.

Thank you so much for sharing Anne! I often feel less strong than other women who are able to keep their emotions under control, but you have reminded me that being emotionality and vulnerability is a superpower, and we should own this part of ourselves.

A beautiful story, Anne, but you are stronger and better for everything that happened in life with you and your husband, what a lifestory you have to tell everyone. God bless!
